And you do have to run either CleanInstaller or the Maxis installer.  You can't just drop the Sims2Pack in a folder and expect it to show up.

There was a dog on the lot named Larva, and if it's a stray or someone else's pet, one of the Sims had greeted it and was interacting with it.

For most trademarked images, you just put TM and the name of the trademark owner.  That usually covers your butt.

If they do complain (like DC Comics did a couple years ago), you can always take it down.

Yeah, my strays are pretty upscale looking too.  But Sims live in nice 'hoods, so they should have nice strays, lol!

My bad.  It should be My Documents\ea games\The Sims 2 Pets\Logs

I have the expansion packs nested under The Sims and goofed when converting the path to what most people would use.

That's in My Documents\ea games\the sims 2\logs  The file name is CustomContentObjects.txt.

Propose is to give the pet away.  Sell is to sell it.  Have you checked your log file for conflicts or any hack which modifies the sales process?

The guide says it was done so that you could have a litter with a bunch of identical puppies or kittens "and one different."  It made a weird kind of sense the first time I read it, but if you think about it... even in that case, the "identical" ones should be a little different.

Yes, a patch to get away from the cloning entirely would be a good thing.

No, they don't show their true colors until they're adults...

I adopted a black puppy that grew up to be a very pretty gray.  Tara Kat's kitten changes colors when it grows up, too.
