My goodness, some people are so pettyminded! Anyone would think there had been something close to murder being done for someone to act in such a way! Have you retaliated by fixing her with the NPC zapper so if she comes over here she gets zapped?

I ended up doing a complete uninstall/reinstall because no-one at MTS2 was able to solve my "disappearing sims" problem! I'm also pretty sure the downloaded hacked car which came in a house and I finally decided was at the root of my problems came from there! I think a lot depends on which thread you post in, and who happens to see your post and make suggestions, and navigating the site is so confusing that it's easy to post in the first thread that seems to be related to your problem.
Now I'm getting confused!

Did you try replacing all your kitchen with new appliances and counters? It could be the same as the problem you get with sofas, where a visitor leaves without properly quitting the sofa, and thereafter no-one can sit on that part of the sofa, and they can't nap there etc. If you sell everything and build a new kitchen, it might solve the problem.

Well, I came in on the tail end of all this, and really have very little idea of what was going on, but it seems to me that if some of the participants (naming no names, but I don't see any of them posting here!) were able to laugh a little at themselves occasionally, things might not have got so bad! Humour generally takes the sting out of things, I find, and people who can laugh at themselves generally are not people who take a high hand with everyone who disagrees with them!

Well, our Prime Ministers aren't quite the same as Presidents - we vote for a particular party, and we just get the leader the party chose as part of the deal - but of course, if the leader of a party is very unappealing they tend to lose elections fast! (And the Tories haven't managed to find a leader with mass appeal since they got rid of Maggie!)

I guess that's one good reason for not buying teddy bears or cars! I keep deleting the darned cars in Uni, my Greeks keep bringing them back from College, along with cheapo furniture which they don't need as I've already got them better!

Well, presumably in TS1 they got it right, then, because you'd assume that as your skill got better, you'd be less likely to have one of these mishaps! But there again, TS1 was much better written than TS2, and had far fewer glitches, most of which Maxis put right themselves, and hackers then were more concerned with hacking objects than actually modifying the game!

I think Kennedy was quite an orator - he certainly had the charisma to get people's attention, and Clinto wasn't too bad either. Perhaps it's just your Republicans who don't understand the art!

True, I actually had one house in Unleashed where the wife got electrocuted by simFreaks winter hedge with lights, and her best friend came round to join in the grieving and fell into hubby's arms weeping! If you have the Flamingo of contentment on your lot, the baby never needs changing or bathing, so doesn't seem to give out so many signals. And of course, no sim is ever almost dead from hunger for more that a couple of sim minutes! Of course, in TS1, there weren't actually any graves unless you went around axe-murdering people, since nobody ever actually DIED. Oh yes they did! Especially in the original game, not so much later, but electrocution was quite common when changing light bulbs - they just somehow didn't include it in later EPs, but any downloaded objects which were just for Sims1 and LL could still cause electrocution. Also barbecue fires were quite common, and sims often got burned to death!

I would think in a new neighbourhood you'd be fine, as there's be no sim with any memories of the deleted ones.
If you check your neighbourhood character folder before you start to play, and there are no files there, I should think it might be safe to assume they have gone! If the files are there, just get rid of them all before you start - but be careful not to remove any essential ones. But unless you put in a hack to stop it, they'll just respawn with different names and personalities. I just turned all mine into babies except for maids etc., but since I'd been playing the hood for a while, my sims all had memories of some of them, so I'm having to go through all the files and clear those memories, but at least they don't respawn as they are actually still considered by the game to be there!

Did you back your neighbourhood up before things got this bad? At least then, if you find a solution you can go back to the back up and fix that, then play it through again. I just solved a problem I had, not directly related to Greek houses, but the fixes I used were recommended to me by Schmoopee, and they worked, or something did, and lluckily I was able to carry on playing _ but I used the Uni Timer to freeze the time while I got things right. This is where I got the fixes which I used: ]http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=51793&highlight=graduation

I've never seen a sim do that autonomously - of course, if you tell them to, they may do as you tell them, but if they really need to pee, they'll probably do that instead - at least , mine are very good usually at forgetting my instructions if they don't like them!

Well, you should try the UK then, before you say that Global Warming is accompanied by lower humidity! That certainly isn't the case here, where it's got hotter and definitely wetter and muggier! (Oh, and our summers are worse!)
