I found a link to it at MTS2, but all I got was a blank page!  And I found pics of the counters, but I couldn't actually find them!  The search system at MTS2 sucks!

You know what I miss? The whacky statue from Livin' Large, the dude in the boxers brushing his teeth. That went in pretty much every bathroom. I was gonna make it but have been too busy.

And it sometimes increased in value!

Does anyone else miss the flickering gas-lamps  and the ceiling chandeliers?  I hate how in Sims2 you can have wall candles, tables candelabra and the standing candelabra, but no matching ceiling chandelier to complete the look!

And don't forget ceiling fans.  I used to have them in almost every room.

I did saw on the Sims 2 exchange that someone redone all the houses that where in Sims 1.

You have to search for them by address.  Like example:  9 Sim Lane

I've been rather busy too!  It's a great site - just hate having to go through File Planet every time, but I guess that's how they manage to keep it free!

Klaupicius, I second Gali - thank you so much for the link!

I used to have that guy in about half my houses. If you ever do make it, let us know!

I miss gardening, baking breads, churning butter and wine, and selling honey.  All of that came with the later EP's, Unleashed and MM, I think.  I also liked making the gnomes with the bench and then bringing them to life and watching them get drunk in the wine vat.   Cheesy  I guess that some of this will be possible with OFB, namely baking bread and making objects for sale.  But I really missed being able to make a country community and having farms.

I was never able to get the gnomes to come to life.  But I didn't really try either.  And on the subject of farms, if the new survery is to be taken at face value, then the EP after OFB will have to do with farms.

I think Makin Magic was actually one of my favourite expansion packs - I too loved matching the ingredients and actually creating a dish as opposed to just clicking on the fridge.  Loved the wine vat & also the stage where your sims would perform magic tricks.

I didn't like unleashed too much - it got really old really quick especially the rabbits & gophers - yuck!!!  I never grew carrots & stuff on my lots as the animals would drive me positively batty.

Ah, good days, good times...

I never got around to those expansions, but it seems to be like the main point of growing things like lettuce and carrots *IS* to attract rabbits. Rabbits, after all, taste a hell of a lot better. Mmmm. Rabbit.

The problem was they didn't let you eat the rabbits or gophers.  Your pets got skills and you got a ball of fluff that you had to dispose of.  Roasting vermin on a spit and letting you givie the leftovers to the pet would have been noice.

I remember I read on the bbs that they are going to make each aspiration a expansion pack. University was knowledge, Nightlife was eather popularity or whatever came with it, Open For Business is Fortune, and the new one is family. Makes sense when you think about it.

If so, maybe they should do something about those missing LTWs!  Without more LTWs, each EP is going to just get more and more boring since the sims will have no more varied ambitions than they had in the base game!

So far it seems to fit, but that doesn't mean that's necessarily what they're doing.  I don't believe anything I read on the BBS; all those people are full of crap.

University was popularity. Knowledge sims actually suffer quite horribly in Uni, since they can't get their customary skillpoint wants at all. NL was Pleasure, they actually made an entirely new aspiration just for it. OFB? Who knows? Who cares? NOT ME!
