Yeah, I think you must have a mod conflict or something there. That's not supposed to happen.
52  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: A way to lower success percent of woohoo? on: 2012 February 23, 09:18:47
Why can't you just use Woohoo instead of Try for a Baby?
53  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: I need a movie studio portal for Lunar Lakes on: 2012 February 22, 14:32:49
There's also a "smaller plumbob pictures backlot" available, I think it is on MTS.

Great Bear looks very nice but it has an awful lot of trees; how's the lag?
56  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Pudding Factory is for downloads: put your lame requests & WCIFs here on: 2012 February 15, 19:12:13
S3PE runs in Mono, though it is a bit dodgy for me. Sometimes it crashes when I'm trying to merge, and it doesn't like doing a lot of packages at once.

My point: it has been missed.

59  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Magic/Gypsy Hair Without Deco on: 2012 February 04, 09:57:55
This is ace. I knew there was an ok hair here, hiding under EA's wtf-ery.

ETA: dunno if it's something on my end, or medisfire playing up, but everytime I try and download this, I get an error.
60  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Multiple Graphics/Performance Issues on Mac; Please Help on: 2012 January 18, 23:50:41
The people on this forum have actually helped me quite a bit.  I think actually reading the stickies about reading before posting were very helpful.  I still get sporked, but not roasted because I try to keep my stupid to myself.  You actually have to google the shit yourselves people, and use your damn head.  I don't think it's right to come to a forum and just demand that people do the work for you, then complain and whine when you get your ass handed back to you for acting like a jerk.  Sorry in advance to Rohina if I have misused or abused and commas in the typing of this post.

No, you don't get sporked because no one can be bothered to read your posts.

MySimRealty has updated both Meadow Glen (medium world) and Winchester Farming Community (small world). I've been playing in Winchester, and it is very well made indeed, with a good mix of pretty and functionality.
62  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Two really nice sims 3 worlds on: 2012 January 18, 23:47:19
Umm, thanks...?

Awesims is a famous sims site, not some hidden gem, so I'm not entirely sure why you felt the need to post about it, especially when neither world is a particularly recent release. Or, if you felt a burning desire to share your love of Awesims' work, why not post in the "Favourite CC Worlds" thread which already exists?

Redcliffe and Queenstown are very pretty worlds, with lots of attention to detail; but they are also a real drag on your system, and only really viable long-term if you have a top-notch rig.
63  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Borked game won't show cc - or is it just a launcher fail on my behalf? on: 2012 January 13, 11:14:16
I have problems with CC on my Mac on a daily basis and I'm still confused and I spend all day trying to fix it.

I suggest just do what I'm doing, sell the Mac and get a non-piece of shit.

Oh, please. I'm well aware Macs are not good for gaming on, but *newsflash* playing the sims is not the only thing I use my laptop for.

unknown|user Thanks, that may well be a likely cause. that particular issue has resolved itself for me however.

65  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Most of Custom Hair, Clothing and Some Accessories Suddenly Missing/Broken on: 2012 January 12, 11:25:18
My game has suddenly started doing exactly the same thing last night. I'm hoping it is just corrupt cache files.
66  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Custom Worlds not showing up in Main Menu on: 2012 January 10, 12:33:02
Ok, so using the ".world file in gamedata" method allowed me to open and play in a new custom world. However, when I saved it and exited back to the Main Menu, the new save file is not showing up. I guess it's time to try Tangie's way.
67  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Custom Worlds not showing up in Main Menu on: 2012 January 09, 22:35:25
Does jfadeland show up under your main menu list? Because I can install all the worlds without error messages, but they don't show up in the Main Menu. They must be there, because I installed Arkham after I noticed this happening, and yet it works with a save file plopped in my Saves folder.

morriganrant, I will try your method. Cheers. I only need to use the .world file for this, correct? Right now, only Sunset Valley is in \GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Worlds
68  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Custom Worlds not showing up in Main Menu on: 2012 January 09, 18:52:18
For a while now, my Custom Worlds (including Riverview and Hidden Springs) are not showing up in the main menu drop-down list when I try and create a new town. The only hoods which are available are the Base Game and EP ones. The custom towns are all installed fine via the launcher - old saves work, and I even got Arkham to work by using a clean save file someone gave me. However, when I tried the same method with another hood, it didn't work.

I've searched but I can't seem to find anything about this issue. At first I put it down to weird Mac voodoo, but now I quite want to play in some other hoods and it is pissing me off. Any ideas how I can fix this? Taking out cc does nothing to help.
69  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Pets patch 1.29 on: 2012 January 05, 00:16:59
Are you playing on PC or Mac? My twallan no-cd mod randomly stopped working for a while at one point. I had changed nothing whatsoever. It was a Great Mystery. Course, I generally feel like my game is held together with Blu Tac and crossed fingers, so am not much help.

71  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Jeffistani hacks on: 2011 December 30, 12:15:30
You know what I can't stand about Queen Wolfy, is her incessant use of asterisks to denote emphasis. I don't mind it so much on chat, but on a forum where you can use bold or italic typefaces, there's really no excuse. It just makes you look like a twittering idiot.
72  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: Woozel's Whotsit - a small park on: 2011 December 30, 08:29:35
Woah, this is brilliant! Particularly the rocky ledge and the sunken chess area. This will suit the world perfectly, thanks ever so! Honestly, landscaping and parks is my downfall. I just sort of close my eyes, fling a few bushes hither and thither and hope for the best.
73  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: GOOD worlds that incorporate ALL EPs. on: 2011 December 29, 14:01:38
I've not tried it yet, but there's a new world on MTS which incorporates all the EPs. My only concern is that it might be too laggy for my poor wee laptop.
74  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Wojtek's Hairs on: 2011 December 27, 23:06:52
So, a few months ago, Wojtek - aka the jordi of MTS - threw all his (manly, not-pink, non-gay in any way OF COURSE) toys out of the pram and deleted all his uploads. Rampant homophobia aside, some of his hairs were actually quite useful for those of us who play a maxis match game.

I've been sorting out my downloads today and have got 18 of his hairs in this handy .rar for anyone who wants them. It's not a complete collection, but you know, it's a collection *I* picked out, so obviously they are the best. Well, except for a couple of duds, but I figured I'd include all of them, just in case. There are images of all the hairs so you can pick and choose what you want. Oh, and some of them are linked to the EA hairs form whence they were first nabbed, so you'll need those too.

Merry just-after Christmas, enjoy.

Download Wojtek's hairs here.
75  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: GOOD worlds that incorporate ALL EPs. on: 2011 December 24, 21:10:13
I really rate MySimRealty's worlds, especially Redwood Harbor, though that is an older one, not updated for Pets. I did manage to find space for the riding school whatsit and a horse park, though space is a bit tight, and obviously it does not really fit Late Night style clubbing (fine by me as there are never any blooming sims in my clubs in the first place).

There aren't that many worlds out there that incorporate ALL the EPs, as creators often try and make their worlds available for as many users as possible, but it shouldn't be too difficult to plonk a couple of pets lots down in somewhere like Glendalough for example.

What are you after? A big sprawling world or a small, easier on the RAMZ, island world?
