Yeah, that's the badger.

27  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Smaller Port-a-Party Lot on: 2012 March 30, 22:11:04
It's exactly the same as the Port-a-Party ea lot, just with less outdoor space. But eh, I will put a picture up.
28  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Digital downloads on Mac? on: 2012 March 29, 23:59:27
OH LOOK IT IS A MONTH WITH AN R IN IT. WE'D BETTER HAVE A BORING ARGUMENT ABOUT MAC V PC. WE'VE NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE.

TS;DR: You're all on report.

30  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Smaller Port-a-Party Lot on: 2012 March 29, 22:06:45
EA's lots are all stupidly vast. I wanted to use the Starlight Shores lots, but not in Starlight Shores, which is super laggy. So I rebuilt the Port a Party lot on a more reasonable lot size. It's still pretty big, because, you know, it's a massive warehouse and all, but it's on a 40x24 lot now.

Download the smaller Port-a-Party lot here.

So I'm a mod now then? Sweet, does this mean I can go on a reign of terror and mess up all of jezzer's posts?
32  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Showtime & blocked stage path. on: 2012 March 25, 14:40:06
Except, no one who has posted in this thread thus far is an admin or mod.

The store usually releases new stuff at the beginning of each month on Thursday. April's fast approaching so it won't be long before they release a new set. A point of caution though. If by any chance you catch them uploading anything new to the store don't buy it right away. I would advice you to wait for a couple of hours since they often upload the sets at full price to then add a discount later. Since EA's servers are horribly glitched and a lot of people rush to buy the items you may encounter some serious problems that will require you to have to deal with EA rape customer service which you won't enjoy. (Seriously, they don't even lube you up first.)

I'm talking about problems such as your account being credit too much or they credit the right amount of SP but you won't be able to download the the items and they don't show up in your purchase history etc. Then again there are some people who are always very fats with uploading new store content here so maybe it's just my tin foil hat talking.

Umm, virgali, you should really make a better effor to Know Your Audience. Comparing something trivial like EA customer service to rape does not go down well here.

The only acceptable post to follow such a title is "Tell me how you feel 'bout this?"

35  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: SimFest- No Performer? on: 2012 March 17, 00:35:49
Yeah I had this happen with the park stage. It might be something to do with the park, because Simfests have worked elsewhere with no problems.
36  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: TS3 Patch 1.33 on: 2012 March 16, 14:39:55
Hmm, I'm still on 1.31. Holding off on 1.33 until it looks like there's not a 1.34 hiding round the corner. Typical EA shenanigans.
37  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Hostile Play Environment on: 2012 March 16, 10:48:03
I agree with the SNES MK love, but Double Dash has toadette. Along with the BLUE SHELL OF DOOM.

Yes. Being winrar of mushrooms, I can see how toadette would sway you.  SOOZE, on the other hand, has no excuse.

I know it makes me a philistine but I have the fondest memories for Mario Kart 64 out of all the MK games. Sorry, but nothing beats finally making that jump through the waterfall on Koopa Beach or smacking your little brother off Skyscraper (aka the work of the devil).

HEM.  I would make a snarky comment in regard to your pending punishment and how well deserved it would be, but I am above such things. /sniff

What can I say? N64 was the console of my childhood, therefore everything on N64 is instantly better than everything that's not on N64.
38  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Hostile Play Environment on: 2012 March 16, 01:44:59
SNES Mario Kart or GTFO. You crazy kids.

Hmm, I think I was playing GBA Mazza Kart, not DS. So I probably was

Skadi: HUR. I have like, zero idea what that even means, but taking a console out on holiday seems a little extreme. Just a little Cheesy
39  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Hostile Play Environment on: 2012 March 15, 21:55:13
Yeah, it's really disappointing. I keep thinking this is a thread about playing sims half way up Mount Everest, or on the front line, or in a tank of sharks. Perhaps the thread should be re-railed in this direction.

I think my most hostile game environment was probably trying to play Mario Kart whilst a team of hyenas gathered mere feet away, to settle in for a night of "Let's freak the woozel out". True, there was a fence between us, but the stares put me off my laptime.
I hope it was Double Dash. That is the only acceptable Mario Kart as far as I'm concerned.

Well, I was in a campsite in the middle of the wilderness, so there was not so much of the console games going on. Mario Kart DS all the way.

This is insane. You actually want to play 200 odd families at once? WTF. Apart from the fact that this is beyond cray-cray, isn't there a limit to the number of characters TS2 can handle, befoe the game asplodes?

I like the fact I can send my spares and various extraneous family members off into the big wide world in TS3 and let them get on with it. I do have a hood where I flip around the families, but I still let Twallan's SP do its thang. Sure, sometimes Sims deviate from my vague plans for them, but meh. I tend to take the view that the game is just following the messiness of life.
42  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patches 1.31/1.32 on: 2012 March 12, 13:11:00
I saw a thread about the greenish tint to the skintones. Supposedly, if you have your settings on high, the skintones will look normal again. I haven't seen that in my game, which is at 1.31, but all my settings are on high, so that may be correct.

They pulled the patch with all of the EP7 stuff, so you're safe now.

Yeah, but I thought that came with the 1.32 patch? Unless the werewolf skins thing slipped into 1.31 as well. But I guess I will update and see what happens.

Those are two totally different issues. Patch 1.31 introduced a glitch in CAS. If your settings aren't set on high the sim's skin looks greenish. It happened to me too. Changing your settings to high will "fix" it.
Superpatcher 1.32 introduced a new skin color wheel. This is the patch with the EP7 stuff. I have this one too.

Ah, ok cheers. Sorry for the confusion. That's a PITA, but I guess as glitches go, it's not the worst that could happen.

I haven't had an issue with CC with the incremental patch either.  My skintones still work.

What about default replacement skintones? From what I've seen posted at MTS and on the official forums, a lot of people are claiming that the patch somehow changed the skintone ramps and that default replacement skintones no longer work because of this.

I only have 1.31 but my default replacement skintones in CAS now have a weird grey/greenish hue to them.

Thanks for replying, but I was hoping for a reply from someone MOAR AWESOME than at least me.

What the hell? Do you realise how conceited you sound? What is wrong with Mootilda replying and trying to help you?
46  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.31 on: 2012 March 10, 14:43:37
I'm having the same problem as Lagtop, but in a much less stupid way. I'm just getting the invalid file error without a crack. I guess I'll have to download the superpatch, even if my Internet speed isn't all that fast.
Nevermind that. Just downloaded full-patch 1.32, installed, and works like a charm.

Oh good. I was up all night worrying about you and your slow internet! THANK GOD THE NEW PATCH WORKED.
ORLY THX ALOT
What the hell is wrong with you guys?

THE ALOT IS A SCARY CREATURE HOW DARE YOU INVOKE IT HERE?

Also, I was totes srs. I will cry myself to sleep tonight knowing that you don't believe me.

She will, you know. jesslla is homeschool, so she is very much a fluffy bundle of caring emotions.
47  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Lights! Camera! Inaction! SHOWTIME! on: 2012 March 08, 23:36:01
I'm playing with no cc except for some store hairs and NRAAS mods. My game is really laggy and jumpy in Starlight Shores compared to playing 1.29 with a metric tonne of cc. I've tried turning down my graphics (yes jezzer, my graphics can get worse) and restting objects, but to no avail. I have not tried any other hood yet.

ETA: oh, and I don't seem to be getting any sound coming from jukeboxes.
48  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: A way to lower success percent of woohoo? on: 2012 February 24, 11:48:14
Odd thing is many of my sims don't get pregnant the first time in "Try for Baby". And I've never had one fall pregnant under just Woohoo. lol

That's not odd. That's how the game works. I can't remember the exact figures, as I've fiddled with it in in my game, but trying for a baby gives something like a 50% chance of getting pregnant. And no one falls pregnant from standard woohoo in your game because they're not supposed to. Stop being such an idiot.

Does anyone know which store set the ballyhoo! teen trousers come in? I can't seem to see them in Victorian Fashions, and am not sure where else to look.
