Proves nothing, given that you are a KEWIAN. I point out the COMPLETE LACK OF CORROBORATION by known, reliable sources. Maybe that's why it takes so long before you get the EPs. Takes that long to find a source you trust to tell you that the game actually exists. I'll let you know if the game exists when I pick up my copy on Thursday. Gotta love Australian time zones... Where are you getting it from Thursday? All my info says it's released on Friday. And I'm an Aussie too so don't just be vague!

BAH! Don't cave in to the family pack! It's just the latest scheme to sell you minimum product for the maximum amount of cash! Don't encourage them!
Why can I hear someone screaming about the SUITS AT EA right about now?

Are you sure Derek's not in the bathroom when the ghost gets the red X?
And I already mentioned, I moved the Monty ghosts, no probs, Antonio then resurrected Claudio, again no probs. Remaining Capp tombstones were also moved when I relocated old Capp, and - no more haunting!
Pretty sure, she's been doing it since he was a baby and bathrooms were not required! She also has the family 'desperation' thought bubbles while she's floating around.

Darleen Dreamer's not happy about having a grandson. At least that's what she seems to be telling me when she looks pissed off with a thought bubble of little Derek with a big red 'X' through it.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Patch-Bug/Hack Issues?

1) Brandi Broke thinks she's still married to her dead husband Nick, who drowned (so sad) a week before I installed the patch. So now she's in love with a new man Brian, she's counting it as a third 'love' (she's also been having an affair with Nina Caliente), and an 'affair', and can't get engaged or married to Brian. Is there any way I can 'break' her necrophilic connection to Nick? The necrophilia thing is caused by a stuck marriage bit, which occasionally happens. I tried including a fix for it in the marriage portmortum hack, which should search out and unset the "married" relation bit. You can do this manually in SimPE. Is this as simple as 'uncheck the marriage box on the relationship panel and commit for each sim' or is there more? I'm a bit of an ignorant SimPE-wise. 2) Lifetime wants appear to be stuck. When I try to re-roll a LTW using the FFS Debugger, College Clock or TJ's college adjuster (I think), nothing happens and the LTW remains as graduate 3 children from college even though they're elders and no way are they having more kids.
Is this a male family sim? He could still manage to have more, and this is probably recurring because the LTW selection for family sims tends to be very cripplingly limited, especially at elder. One is a male family sim (I'm just not letting him breed as he's only there to keep elder Brandi Broke happy), there's also a male teen fortune sim who has 'Earn 100,000' as his lifetime want, which refuses to reroll, and a female teen pleasure sim who wants 50 dream dates. I'm bored with 'earn 100,000!' It's too easy! And 50 dream dates - the loading times getting them downtown is just not worth it.

Couple things I've noticed since installing the patch. I have JM's Director's Cut plus a few of TJ and CB's hacks.

So glad I saved her PMs to me on the topic on this forum for posterity. I am not about to delete anymore accounts because then you all post elsewhere that I deleted you accounts for no reason. I set you as read only since no activity on your account for 30 days will force a password change and 60 days after that the account will disappear. If you no longer want the account simply not using it will do what you wish.

Hey, speaking of VS - remember all that kerfuffle about VampCat casually reproducing twojeff's mods and not even bothering to tell people looking for TJ where to find him? One of the results of that spat was I got banned - erm, put on 'Read Only'. I and a few others asked for our accounts to be deleted and we were told, 'not to worry, after 3 months without any activity your account will be deleted'. Guess What?! Rentechd lied!I just thought to check if my account has actually been deleted. Sadly, no. http://www.variousimmers.net/vsimforum/member.php?userid=1958vecki Wallflower vecki's Avatar Last Activity: November 10th, 2005 06:23 PM Now by my calculations, that would make it 3 months and 10 days since I last logged in there. I'm only willing to accept time zone delays to a certain extent. 10 days is a little beyond what I would take into account. I don't know whether to do anything about it or just leave it there.

I only had a brief chance to try out the test version and was having trouble with importing Pleasantview and Aridia (my Challenge neighbourhood) from SimPE (while the character data text appeared in the SimPE output, when it imported into the db, it just had a few random bits of data showing up - not even names appeared) I'll try it out with this one and see if I can't figure out what I was doing wrong.

Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Graduation Party Memory Fix

Well that's just ... dumb and stuff.
Even if multiple sims can't age transition at the same time at the party, why should the mascot and cheerleader get special privileges and change into the cap and gown when their best friend, who they've known since they were toddlers (ok, children) can't?

Downloading, although I currently have an issue with Grad parties (meh, I hardly ever bother with any parties anymore, anyway).
Most of my sims go through Uni in batches of 4 or so students, and tend to stay in some sort of time sync all the way through courtesy of the college clock. When they all graduate though, no one gets an option to throw a grad party until at least one sim has returned to the home neighbourhood. So at least one sim will miss out on that last shindig.
Also (although for all I know this one's already been fixed), when I first got Uni, every time I had a group of students graduate, and (prior to the lack of grad party option problem) throw a party, only the sim throwing the party will put on the grad cap and gown, then age up and leave at the end of the party. I thought sims they were friends with were also meant to put on the cap and gown and actually 'graduate' together.
Does that make sense?

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: still some surprises...
|

Pretty cool! Speaking of surprises, I was playing Nina Caliente in her new house after the birth of her (oops! ) son Carlos, and I was randomly waving the pointer around the screen when I noticed there was an action available on the coffee table. I clicked on it and the option 'Do Yoga' came up. I clicked on that and Nina walked up to the coffee table (which happens to be under a hanging light). A message came up that as there was something on the ceiling, it would get in the way and she couldn't do yoga. I moved the light and chose yoga again. She then vaulted onto the table and proceeded to do the normal yoga poses. When she was done she backflipped back onto the floor. Has this been around since time immemorial and I've just been too stupid to notice it until now?

My guess is yes, if you want to take it to a new residential lot. He'll have to move back in, put the tombstone in his inventory, then move out to his new home. The automagically moving tombstones only works when you're sending them to a community lot. * vecki waits for someone to tell her how it can actually be done with mind control or something
