That could be a very long time.  I have a feeling we are going to need him around a very long time even after Nightlife, because the hacks will have to be upgraded for every EP from now on.  Undecided

I think you may well be right!  And then, after they've finished with Sims2 (3D), and move on to Sims3 (Holograms) no doubt we'll still need him!  so I hope if he reaches the age of final transition, he clones a younger edition of himself first!   Roll Eyes

Yeah, that would be a good idea.  Maybe he could create an android with his intelligence and his essence that wouldn't even need caffeine to stay away, he could work all the time and never sleep or eat and never die.

ROFLMAO! Grin Ahhhhh..the consipiracy theories! Cheesy Maybe he dicided that being "retired" is too boring and decided for a "comeback" to his old career?

Lately I've been thinking the whole "old-man-with-long-long-long-bead" thing is a cover up! I bet he's a skinny, small fourteen year old full of zits with glasses like goggles, braces (one of those that go aLL the way around the head) with this HUGE head beacuse of his HUGE brain (double the size of his skinny, small body) with all kinda info stored in it..Wink Tongue And now his parents are onto his secret lab.. Grin

Yeah, I KNOW this is farfetched, but if the alternative is imagineing his saggy manhoood.... Shocked argh! I'll stick to my story... Grin Wink

Maybe it's somewhere in between the two extremes!  And really, he's a computer geek who made enough money to build his fortress and retire there to play computer games and make mods for Sims2!

Yup... let's make certain the prioritis are in the right order. Maim, burn, poke with pointy things, but only after the EP is fixed goddammit!  Grin

Saggy old men parts... eeewwww! Always down to the lowest denominator. Shocking. Shocking.

Maybe he is Will Wright. That would be a hoot. Nah, Wright goes out in public, so that's out. Undecided

How do you know he hasn't done so already? This JMP could be JMP #100 for all we know.

I think he's been too busy attempting to take over the universe/galaxy/whatever to worry about modding Nightlife.

I think it would make more sense to wait until I have the game before worrying about modding anything. It's not due to arrive for 6-8 weeks.

Another 6-8 weeks?  It's already been a month, so that should cut it down to 2-4 weeks.

What about the objects.package? Or does that still have a few Microsoft hours(tm) to go?

You know, that pimply-adolescent theory could hold water. The 6-8 weeks may be the amount of time it takes to save up his allowance to buy the game. Or perhaps he's been grounded.

I noticed that too, but decided not to comment at the time. Smiley

Back in the 80's, companies would talk about their new software being released in 90 days.  Always 90 days.  If you checked back 4 months later, they still said "90 days."  Anyone remember that? Smiley  Besides Pescado, that is.  Hehe!
