1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Lowered Expectations - Studio, 1ba on: 2014 March 30, 03:56:34
Hi there! So you're here to see the place? Excellent!

Oh uhm, you might wanna come with me. The house isn't the rental. It's actual being rented out by this Landgrabb accounts exec and his trophy wife. Your place is in the back here.

Now the previous owners of this property actually renovated the garage sometime in the early 70s, so it's now a rental. Just through the gate here. And that's your front door.

Now I'm aware it isn't very spacious, and I probably should have mentioned in the ad it was a studio, but think of what you'll save on heating! Oh, and the place doesn't have heat. Might wanna get some good blankets.

Now this decor isn't really old you know? I'd like to say its vintage! The real deal, made back in the days when appliances never broke. Solid as steel. You might wanna look at getting that pilot light replaced though. And the sink has a leak somewhere I can't pin down.

Don't worry, the entire apartment has been de-loused and cleaned up proper! Call a priest if you wanna tackle that smell though. I think the last tenant might have had ferrets.

And your bathroom! Look at that wonderful pastel. And hey, rust gives it character!

Ok, so I see you're not thrilled. But you are getting off street parking and the yard is shared. Not to mention you're not gonna find a real apartment this cheap on your "night shift at Krogers" budget.

So, we got a deal?
2  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / A House Divided 2d, 1b - An apartment for suburbia. on: 2014 March 25, 01:59:10
Just a suburban apartment loosely based on a place I was looking at this month.

Also got the 404. I'm too retarded to know what Gamma is.
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.55 on: 2013 June 25, 02:53:16
I kinda jumped the gun and started playing with new patch, supplanting AM with some Nraas goodies. My impatience is costing me dearly however. One of the more annoying bugs i'm experiencing is that NPC Mixologists at bars and clubs just go dancing and playing darts, and any attempt at ordering from the bar kinda resets the sim ordering to a neutral spot nearby. Strangely though it does not affect the Mixologist For Hire over the phone.
6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.55 on: 2013 June 20, 01:24:21
Skill gain speeds influenced by the Increased Understanding moodlet have been corrected and are no longer ‘insanely fast'.

7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: Phillie's Rock House & Bar - Local Watering Hole 22x16 on: 2013 April 19, 03:14:57
And dumb me forgot the download link.

I have every expansion BUT Supernatural, and I also have High End Loft and Fast Lane. I believe the majority of the content in the bar is just Showtime, Late Night, and Store Items.
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Phillie's Rock House & Bar - Local Watering Hole 22x16 on: 2013 April 19, 03:06:06
So in an effort to bring certain EA neighborhoods into more modern times, I'm working on lots that integrate new expansion content.

This is my first attempt. A Local Watering Hole built into the Red Rendevous hangout in Twinbrook.

Enjoy! My next piece of work will likely be a dance club.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: Lot Challenge, April 2013, TINY lots. on: 2013 April 16, 23:08:00
Alright, SJ just won. Everybody go home.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: Lot Challenge, April 2013, TINY lots. on: 2013 April 16, 00:21:35
A few questions actually...

1) How closely do we have to stick to the color palettes provided?

2) Can we make multiple entries?
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: Lot Challenge, April 2013, TINY lots. on: 2013 April 14, 06:14:01
Ok, here's my take on it.

And the download:
12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: What's the best way to handle memories? on: 2013 March 30, 04:14:39
Best way to handle memories? Alcohol for me.

In your case, I'm pretty sure you can straight up disable them in the options.
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Uni Life Thread on: 2013 March 09, 20:58:15
The constantly broken/dirty situation in dorms is annoying, but I had a Sim in the technology track and constantly unclogging toilets or stopping up sinks helped bring his Handiness up. It'd be nice if there was an AM option to disable stuff from breaking in Dorms.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / LOOKING FOR STUFF ON MATY? READ THIS FIRST. on: 2013 March 08, 22:21:32
Welcome to MATY. If you're reading this, you've already taken the first step in the right direction. The MATY community is a warzone littered with C4 and landmines, but can be navigated with a little precaution. First and foremost, if you have a question concerning a mod, patch, item, or any game related issues, search the forum first, as it more than likely has already been brought up. Only make a thread if you have exhausted your search. Secondly, MATY is more of an asylum than a tea room, and if you are perceived as acting stupidly, such as asking obvious questions or posting things out of place, you will be subject to numerous amounts of name-calling and banter. Calling those who lambast you immature jerks will make them less inclined to help you. You will not win a flame war here, so don't try.

Now then, I'm guessing you're on the search for some mods. Most notably Awesomemod. Excellent! For those who can read directions, it's rather simple to do, and all the information you need is located in the AwesomeMod forum. To make Awesomemod work, you will need the framework for the mod properly installed, and then Awesomemod itself.

Awesomemod Framework Download:,15184.0.html
Awesomemod Download:,15185.0.html

Awesomemod is the creation of J.M. Pescado, Lord Regent of the Municipality of MATY and El Presidente. It comes with many fixes and changes to the way the Sims 3 works, including sim behaviors and story progression. He regularly updates AM out of the white hot burning rage at EA goodness of his heart. Anytime the game updates, AM is updated shortly thereafter, if not immediately. Because of this, you must have the most current and up to date patches installed. (1.50 at time of writing) No exceptions.

If you're not here for AM, or you have AM working and are on the hunt for some content that you would otherwise get through more official sources, the Pudding Factory is the forum to search. And I mean THOROUGHLY search. All the information you could possibly require is there, and seeing as it's quite a lot, I won't get too into it here.

Remember: Above all, be polite, be smart, and don't do anything I wouldn't do. Welcome to MATY. Grab a helmet.

Oh Goody Goody someone who we can all gang up on.   I love being back at school.
Pretty ironic given the expansion.
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Seasons Impressions? on: 2012 December 10, 18:40:37
Wish I could join in the fun, but unless I can replace this shitty laptop quickly, I've given up on Sims. At least until Sims 4 comes out.

Which by the way, IS in the works. EA already purchased the domain name and there've been confirmations by EA employees.
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Patch 1.39 on: 2012 September 30, 23:46:22
Anybody have any idea whats borked? Is the infamous Corrupt Save crash fixed yet? Is Supernatural as shit as I feared?
19  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2012 May 07, 02:25:36
I had it turned on once (briefly) and was actually playing a cop at the time. He starts making conversation with a female so I just que'd as many convo options up as I could so he wouldn't be "boring". However, with the fat/thin settings it's damn hard to tell who is what age compared with S2 where the teens look like pogo sticks, so in rushes a cop after he did nothing more than tell her she looked nice, cuffs him and hauls him off. He loses his job with no way of getting it back, and ended up in the criminal career branch as no one else would hire him besides the greasy spoon. Honestly I had to laugh, and I've never turned that option on again because one wrong move and it's all over...Pescado did a good job of covering all bases.

I didn't realize this was actually part of the mod. That is the greatest thing I've ever read.
20  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: DO NOT ASK ABOUT 1.29 on: 2012 May 02, 15:03:44
What's been going on lately? Why are people are reluctant to update?

1.29 onward caused all manner of annoying crashes to desktop caused by CC, Corrupt Saves, DEP, all kinds of crazy crap.
21  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: How far, is too far? on: 2012 May 02, 10:35:02
All of you are overlooking one important thing: The "Tutti-Frutti"-ness of an item is DIRECTLY DEPENDANT ON THE COLOR SCHEME. Most objects and uniforms in TS3 do not have an intrinsic color that you are obliged to accept. This isn't TS2. Those same items can very well come in entirely normal, non-fruity colors if you so wish it. TS3 is actually mostly in black-and-white and the color is added afterwards.

You hand me a cup of diarrhea shit and tell me "You can paint it white and pretend it's a milkshake!" It's still a cup full of shit.
22  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / DO NOT ASK ABOUT 1.29 on: 2012 May 02, 02:45:54
I'm hoping with this thread visible people will see it and not make another of the threads that seems to plague this section of the site. Its more likely this thread will be deleted, but I'm doing this with the best intentions.

I'll make it perfectly clear for those who have not updated their game to 1.33 and are still at 1.29

The very nature of AM is that it's constantly updating with different bugfixes and tweaks in order to keep up with EA's patches. Pescado, the generous host he is, does not have the time or energy to make a seperate version of Awesomemod for a redundant and obsolete version of the game. He didn't do it during the Nuke From Orbit that was the CC issues in Pets, he won't cater to your inability to keep up with everyone now.

To continue using Awesomemod, you MUST update to 1.33. Do not ask for an older version of awesomemod that is compatible because nobody here is going to go through the trouble of finding it for you. Do not come here asking for help then telling us you're at 1.29 or you will be shown the door. Assimilate or be trampled beneath.
23  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2012 April 30, 18:33:43
I'm not shiny enough? Look at this wonderful smorgasbord of sugar based product and tell me you wouldn't be attracted.

24  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2012 April 29, 06:01:55
Sticking new commands on objects can be done using non-core injectors, so this isn't really an important core-mod topic. Low baking table traffic is caused by setting up in the wrong place. If the place you're setting up is nowhere near anything anyone would actually want to go, obviously, no one is come. Like in any business, location is important!

Weird. I've set up the table in the driveway of a house on a dead end street and gotten a few customers, but I go to the Library in Starlight (which is unusually busy) and I get jack shit.
25  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2012 April 29, 01:27:35
A few itty bitty additions I'd like to see:

1) An option to prevent Butlers from cooking. I love them to death, but the fill my fridge up with meals that my family doesn't eat.

2) An option to check the Baking Report from the computer.

3) Increased traffic for the bake sale table thing.

Also, this is something someone else would likely have to do, but I'd like to have the lockers from Ambitions with dresser options enabled.
