So then, dear Nellynell, you do agree that macs suck?
2  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Transferring Neighborhood = Renamed Townies? on: 2010 September 04, 22:31:04
If someone would bother to recreate this issue we can haz a better understanding maybe [/Zoidberg] Not me though, I don't feel like doing the dance of the disks tonight

Oh and:

As far as I can tell, there is no difference between UK English and UK English names in TS2.
wat
3  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Transferring Neighborhood = Renamed Townies? on: 2010 September 02, 18:42:12
I remember my sims names all got changed when I switched from English to French. Perhaps you at some point changed from idk US English to UK English or vice versa?

offtopic: your sig makes you seem like a horrible bore.  Cheesy

It's another one of them, wossname, commercials that debuted during the superbowl, no?
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / World of Puddings / Re: Boobers can has pudding? on: 2010 April 19, 16:59:20
Why does it not say to stick it with the snob trait??

Necromancing to ask/notify/pester the Nefarious Bot about the broken links.

...or if someone else who has them could upload them or send them to me that'd be hella like, the bee's knees.
9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Apartment Lot roads on: 2010 March 31, 12:14:04
I'm repeating my question. I'm well aware that you can repaint the road each time - I was asking if there was anything else I could do since it was a VBT as well as wondering what sort of consequence there may be from doing so. I wasn't just asking if it was possible.
10  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Apartment Lot roads on: 2010 March 26, 03:47:15
But I thought editing apartment sublots was essentially a VBT?
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Question about: Castaway Stories Conversion for Sims 2 on: 2010 March 24, 20:16:57
They want to extract the object from Castaways for use in TS2 but they also want to make it usable in lieu of a tombstone/urn.

It's like your writing a bad sequel to Madame Butterfly!
13  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Updating my CC: BCON files on: 2010 March 19, 19:59:15
And to think you were voted out and denied any badge of dignity that you so embarrassingly pined for...
14  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Updating my CC: BCON files on: 2010 March 19, 19:09:51
The pudding does suck! I understand that modders and the like think "Pudding is teh future." (as Pescado once put it) and so most of the talent won't bother with TS2 anymore - I get that, I understand etc but telling people just to play TS3 - I mean, really, Teabag?
15  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The Brokeback Mountain Challenge on: 2010 March 13, 20:37:41
LOL the scoring is hilarz. What an amusing concept for a challenge and one that is short and actually potentially lulzy  Cheesy
16  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: EAxis House of Phail: February-March 2010 on: 2010 March 13, 20:36:22
Aerial views are informative but don't really work for showing off aesthetics. You should also include a view of your house from the street. Also your decor reminds me of Hot Topic chains - works great to show off uniformity (hurr) but just look all 12y goth but considering what the no CC rule limits you to...  you can take that as a constructive or not. In short MOAR STREETVIEW PLZ
17  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Clean and fixed Uber-Megahood! FINISHED! on: 2010 March 13, 03:21:55
While I VEHEMENTLY disagree with you, Sita, about thinking we should cater to YOU, I do agree that Tarlia should have created her own thread as opposed to hijacking mixreality's.

Perhaps hijack isn't an appropriate word since it appears she helped you out/y'all were on topic etc blah - whatever. The point is it seemed established towards the END of this thread that the DL was borked (after SO MUCH zomgifixedit's by mixreality) and instead of sensibly making a new thread, perhaps summing up the headaches here, you leave the alternative (of which you promote on this site enough) at the end of this thread which leaves n00bs and regulars alike frustrated. I understand your "base" is on teh Urinalz but if you're going to post it on MATY, you really should make your own thread, ESPECIALLY if you're going to recommend it so much.

19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Asherton, a neighborhood you can play with: The complete version on: 2010 March 05, 17:06:06
Looks great, is there a fix to the broken links?

Ok, I'm officially pulling this offering. However, if those who are motivated want to play with the CAW files and see if you can eliminate the bugs, feel free to do so. You can keep it for your use or post fixed files here and you will get half credit. Here are the CAW files.
20  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Apartment Lot roads on: 2010 March 04, 23:20:13
I use a default replacement terrain to achieve a more old time-y aesthetic to replace the pavement/asphalt as seen here:

However when I make apartment lots, even if I change the pavement, I'll play the lot and the road will have changed back to its default tiling making this ugly effect:

So I ask, is there anyway to avoid this without using the glitchy apartment edit cheats (which seem to be VBTs)? Like, is there a way to make the replaced tiles *stick* when converting the lot to an apartment lot?
21  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: TS1 Newbie House (7 Sim Lane) on: 2010 February 24, 23:49:40
If you still have TS2 installed you can grab Madame Mim's TS1 Lots for TS2 and install them and then look over them/take screenshots and go off those. It seems that's as close as you'll get for now. Otherwise you're better off firing up TS1 if you really want to.
22  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Fix for animation freeze on community lot? on: 2010 February 20, 02:55:45
Faylen - great username! We had this thread a while back but my google-fu isn't working up to snuff; otherwise I'd link you to the related fail.
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: TS1 Newbie House (7 Sim Lane) on: 2010 February 15, 00:37:40
LOL that, aging and genetics may have been my favorite thing added during the transition from TS1 to TS2
24  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: TS1 Newbie House (7 Sim Lane) on: 2010 February 14, 20:55:38
I remember that program - the teens were adult sims with freakishly wiry bodies and child heads. They looked weird but what I really didn't like of the program was that if you had Hot Date and you went Downtown, you'd get townies with big heads and the "teen" bodies.

25  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: TS1 Newbie House (7 Sim Lane) on: 2010 February 14, 05:47:29
That looks identical only with better lighting (though still shitty cos I stubbornly haet TS3) and actual 3D rendering.

There ya go. Print it out and eat. At the risk of echoing fwAggie: "Then you can say 'I ate bits.' afterwards."

ETA: needs moar interior shots for those of us who don't play anymore
