The whole school thing sounds fun initially but it can get really tedious especially when you consider how much play time it requires. An alternative would be to send the kids walking to school (and likewise the adults to work) and there are carpool replacements (bus included) on MTS2.

One thing I recommend, which isn't a big deal but pickers-of-nits like me get annoyed by it, is to avoid apartments so that you don't have to re-clothe the landlord/lady. Also if you have default replacement roads, the street won't match the default replacements in-lot in-game and since they're outside of apartments, you can't edit them, so it looks bad. They're both cosmetic but then again most period players care about those sort of things.

Ninja'd by Zazazu, of all pumpkins

Quit whining about your supposed beatdown - considering this is MATY we're talking about, your "beatdown" was really mild. You got your help so STFU and GTFO. Feel free to DIAF while you're at it.

faek edit:

Alright, I'm calling it - Sock? Troll? What's with the formatting? You're not 12, are you? Remove your unnecessary mark up - this isn't a some f-ly/12ly/rp fanfiction forum. Special needs will join the euphemism treadmill that imbecile was on so long ago I'M JUST SAYIN'

This thread lists the titles one would receive based on the cumulative sum of their donations back then, if that's what you wanted to know.

I have no issue with historical clothing. It's just... this is supposed to be.. high tech. Not retro-tech. I was also very displeased with the 'victorian' store crap that gave one a ladies pair of PANTS!? Yet no skirts? Senseless. I think they need to hire some historical fashion expects before attempting to do any 'period clothing' again.

I didn't even look further when I saw the thumbnails on snootysims then since I saw no bell silhouettes etc. Of course I was initially annoyed that they went for "Victorian" in the first place - it's not my favorite period personally and I think it's overrated but it'd've been a nice addition for the rest of us players. But seriously - PANTS, wtf? It just proves that they do less and less with each product since they won't even consult with teh wickerpedia even.

Sorry, I didn't think.  I saw Pescado's message as I was finishing up the first post.  I had to go look the numbers up, but I wanted to get it out there first.  It never occured to me to just modify the first post.  Won't happen again.
I'm with you .  I was completely underwhelmed.  Especially with the hairs.  If I could think logically and wasn't compelled to buy every new SIMS product the day it comes out, I would have no problem waiting for AwesomeMod compatability issues to be resolved before purchasing this.  AM > High End Loft Stuff.

This is why

Oi! there is a MODIFY button, you should use it in lieu of double posting.

Ick. I only see one hair that I like, and it looks like a peggy hair I already have. And that white suit looks like a tackier version of the one from WA... Is that... all? .. the outfits/hair?

And I'm not seeing aything modern about these outfits. The last female one reminds me of the 1950s for some reason.

It's the poodle skirtishness of it, I think. I want more historical meshes, personally. I, for one, am sick of crinolines and bell shapes - my pudding ladies need their panniers.
37  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Got High End Loft Stuff two days early . . . for all the good it does me. on: 2010 February 01, 01:35:54
Has it been listed anywhere how many new objects have been included in this stuff pack?

With TS2, it seemed the magic number was 150 objects in stuff packs. At least with TS2 they used to preview the objects in high resolution photos on the main website and not some useless "trailer". God I'm so fucking sick of their trailers.

It doesn't give a number on the case.  40 items are specificaly listed in the manual, including the special ones.  Add five hairs, two pairs of shoes, and a few outfitsits somewhere between 50 and 60.

Hmm I seem to remember, since ye olde TS1 days well into TS2 days anyway, that they counted those things as well as walls and floors as objects too.

39  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Empty and Cleaned-up Templates. [UPDATED] on: 2009 December 21, 17:41:04
I think Bayadere should give us the path to which N001 folder he's putting the templates in. It's an easy mistake to replace the wrong ones.
40  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: No Witch Overlay on: 2009 December 16, 01:19:51
If I can manage to make a set of neutral recolours for the throne, lamps - would anyone be interested in them - no idea how to hack them to be available for a netrail witch/warlock to use, but, think that could be pretty nifty.

I would definetely be interested in that.  Grin

I have no strong feelings either way.  Tongue

BTW, BLS! It is spelled 'neutral'

"Recycle" is the wrong word as TS3 animations work different that TS2 animations, they might have the original animations frames around but hey, so they did from The Sims that in case your forgot had 3D Sims in what was a 2D world.

Are you channeling bangelnuts?

An interesting observation by recent maty convert/mts heretic claeric on MTS points out the potential clue to the next installment of teh Horror by EAxis:

Quote from: claeric

The Winter holidays are all about family and thinking of others, including our beloved pets. There is no better gift than a Mochi's Doggie Present for your favorite pooch. This wonderful present is decorated with a lovely bow and a plush "Mochi the Dog" doll embracing the package.

Thoughts? It seems strange to me for them to mention "our beloved pets" and our "favorite pooch" and give us an item solely meant to be "for" pets...when we don't have pets!

And I am gonna take it as a hint.

I personally can not wait to see what annoyances and levelling up chores will be featured  in the EP. I mean who doesn't love skillinating petz?! With rotten.com kinda curiosity I wonder how they'll yield to the furries...

Sadly I know not to get my hopes up for any REAL sheep this time.  Cry

Though I don't generally play of the Horror, behold, the fruits of my insomnia: November spawned a lamb pudding. These things take time, after all.

If I seem a little strange, that's because I am.
