Consider this my official complaint about the post title. I'd post it in the cheese with your wine section, but I could die of starvation before Cockular gets around to supplying the cheese. It's "Deleting the bugger s" Bliss, not bugger. After all, we can't have more than one of you.

I regularly delete households after evicting them without issue, I've also used the awesomemod rapture/ townie removal features without any issues. I haven't tried deleting a sim in game with shift-click though. TS3 doesn't have the same level of interconnectedness between sims as TS2, so there should be no real issues with nuking. After all, the game randomly "moves" people away by design.

I was one of the people who voted no, because I find these sorts of challenges quite hard. Plus there isn't many Sims 3 tools that can accurately make a Queenslander home. But thanks to the bogans, I can present to you the McMansion. A favourite of Housing Estates, where your house should take up most of your block and have more rooms than ever needed. Fill it with furniture bought on interest free and throw in some bamboo for "culture". Front of house Ground floor - guest bedroom and bathroom [ Ground floor - study, laundry and two car garage. Eat-in kitchen, dining room and bar, and main lounge Ground floor overview Overhead view of pool with water feature Overhead view of 2nd story Top Balcony Master bedroom and ensuite, media room Nursery and single bedroom 1 Single bedroom 2 and ensuite It comes it at about $236,000 furnished and $150,000ish unfurnished [wanded] on a 30x30 block. Made with all EPs, SPs, and store stuff. Sims3pack: http://www.mediafire.com/?4j61alj46i0qr78Reference from Metricon Homes: http://www.metricon.com.au/queensland/homes/imperial/floor-plans/54

@Firefly Hmm, both of these things say that my hard drive is in good health
@SJActress Thanks, that's a nifty program. It didn't seem to fix my Sims problems, but I'm definitely going to keep it for other stuff.
@wizard_merlin I patch from the launcher so I think everything is all patched up. And I'm posting here because the official Sims 3 forums kind of suck. I did have some mods and pirated stuff before, including awesomemod, but I deleted them when I reinstalled so I could see if I could run TS3 if it was completely vanilla. As for how long I've had this problem, it's been at least two years. One thing I probably should have mentioned; I CAN play my game if I leave it frozen like that for about 3 hours. Then it just pops back to normal and plays well, without freezing.
Completely vanilla, no CC hairs? This happened to me with bad downloads, I had to use process monitor to sort out which ones were loading over and over again.

Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread
|
on: 2013 July 02, 00:37:52

I have not played the Sims in a while and just bought a package from Steam that is up to Supernatural and reports game version 1.55 I installed the latest awesomemod and when the game launches I get an error "Non-critical core mismatch! A core file not part of AwesomeMod does not match expected values." I press ignore and the game launches but all buttons are unclickable and all pulldowns are blank. I am running a clean install with nothing but awesomemod and framework for mods.
Any ideas?
Thanks
AM is only up to 1.50. 1.55 is in testing - if you can find it, you get to use it. If not, wait for the stable release. I think I have worked out what is causing the sound issues - I have that stupid swan peddle boat in IP and my sound stopped when some townie was on it. Managed to nuke it, no issue.

I'm finding IP to be virtually unplayable. Horrible lag (even in Buy/Build modes. FPS is stable, there just seems to be a delay between every click and action when I'm building) and I'm getting a constant barrage of unroutable sims in the new hood.
I am getting a bit of lag in build buy, manly when I try and use the eyedropper. I have made my first dive lot in Sunlit Tides using the tutorial linked from the BBS, it works well.

Not sure about pee increasing the likelihood of being eaten. There was an underwater cave with tentacles sticking out, that is the next thing on my list of horrors to explore.
I can confirm you need to snorkel to get to scuba, once you get to level 2 you can start exploring the underwater zones. They are rated by skill level.
I don't know if I am liking the boat taxi thing - it depends how well it will work with the next round of CAW. If scuba is restricted to this world it is going to be a very boring skill.

Can anyone make 16 Alameda Walk sit flush to the ground? Everytime I try to install it into a game it creates a great pit of the lot on which I place it?
It does that for me, too. The house was probably not built on a flat section. I've voted my votes. I didn't vote for any houses with living underground, or those that made sims live in glass boxes, as I personally prefer realism in my game. It was still a hard choice as there are so many yummy lots. *makes note to put SimWitch in the my Qube.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Splash N Stroke - Community Pool 40x30

I've been playing with CAW again, and made this for my new world. Splash N Stroke is built with all EPs and SPs, and using Store content, but no other CC. 40x30 lot. Has: tanning booth, photo booth, ice cone machine, juice keg, coffee stand, ping pong table, whack a gnome, a lounge area with TV, spa, a lap pool and a splash pool as well as a nice little alcove for your celebrity sims.
