I <3  http://kuler.adobe.com/

It gives you a 5 colour spread based on different principles - triads, complementary, etc. Very cool indeed.

Thanks. Now I understood why I saw houses furnished and decorated with so many objects.
I don't know if it's fair for contest. We can't use CC but we can use cheats... with cheats, a starter house it's not a really starter house and who use this cheats has an advantage.

Anyway, the houses posted here, are so beautifully and some of them so originally.
Considering it is only the unfurnished price that needs to be below $16500, I don't think people are being too hampered. The wanding really only makes a difference to furnishings, and since there is no limit to the furnished price [imaginary points only] it is still fair for all.
Feel free to redo a house with more furnishings if you like.  Smiley

I also have a mod somewhere that gives me all the plants, including the ones from the Store Content as buy debug plantables.

Yup, SimsMxMissingSoilAutoPlants.package

I didn't found this word -"wanding"- anywhere... I tried almost everything to try understanding what means... what is this? (my English don't help me). If someone has a synonym in french or italian... or a simplified explanation, please help me.
Your English is far better than my french or italian.

"Wanding" means using the command "wandhere", added to the list of commands by Awsomemod.  You type this after pressing Ctrl-Shift-C, and it instantly ages everything on the lot to their lowest depreciated value.  The reason Pescado made the command "wandhere" dates back to how he implemented this function in The Sims 2, where he used an actual wand object.

You also had to wave it.

Twallan also has a depreciation mod I think. It just makes it easier to get sims started. Think of it as filling a house with secondhand furniture.

I love what people can do with a starter lot. Makes me wonder why EA includes such crappy ones with their worlds.

Phoenixc, your buildings are wonderful!
82  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Playing TS3 Supernatural without super-naturals on: 2013 April 20, 05:47:13
Arr it for the furniture - there are some nice objects in there.
I don't really play the supernaturals, but I do use the furniture and alchemy skill.
Plus: BEES and MUSHROOMS.

I'm impressed. There are lots of really good ideas here to steal be inspired by and use in future projects.

My thoughts exactly! I've been snatching up most of the entries.

I don't usually participate in these sorts of things, but I did actually put together an entry. However, 2 different entries look a lot like what I came up with independently... So now it would look like I ripped them off.  Undecided Back to the drawing board, I guess!

It doesn't matter if they are similarly themed, the more the merrier! At least then we could have a few of the same feel for sub-sections within a neighbourhood.
Though this is making me want to crack out the world builder again.

SJA, you do some seriously good decorating.

3rd Entry, titled Deception.

Is it a run down house, barely furnished? Or an extravagant underground sanctuary?

16478 furnished or 13231 unfurnished.
Master bed, nursery and 1.5 bathrooms.

When you need to patch, just swap the original one back in, then replace it after you patch.

Witch - the imgur thing isn't you, it is the links used. The direct links I originally grabbed didn't have the .jpg afterwards.

SJ - that is a great house, I can't believe how much decoration you could do within the budget!

I love everyones houses! It's going to be hard to choose a favorite when it comes time to vote. I was afraid no one at all would enter. Wouldn't I look silly then?

Here is my second house.

411 Anglin Street is a small Victorian inspired house.

Furnished: §16,315

Wow Jesslla, that is awesome. And now I am off to do a modern one.

I believe Mim was referring to the "MATY Way", asking silly questions and MOAR FITE, of which Venganza may be ignorant.

What happens if you try this link? http://alpha.moreawesomethanyou.com/ts3/hax/awesome.zip

I'm not having any issues with seeing Turd's images, are you running any other blockers?

ReRybka - I really liked your lot, I like the colour scheme on the single bedroom especially.
92  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: Lot Challenge, April 2013, TINY lots. on: 2013 April 15, 01:58:09
Yay! I love this challenge and some of the entries!

Here is my first:
15x10 lot
16298 furnished, 10556 unfurnished and wanded.

I chose the purple palette, picked it out with photoshop and used the hex code, but it looks darker in these photos.

93  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: Juice Caboose Bar and Grill - 25x25 - Sports Bar on: 2013 April 01, 22:33:31
I really like this! It has a good sporty vibe and the exterior fits in to most worlds.
Plus the shape is cool. I knew there was a reason I married you, internet Wife.
94  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Computer HALP on: 2013 March 12, 08:38:10
First thing - get rid of Vista.

Second, is it a laptop?

Your processor is a bit behind, a new i5 or a AMD X6 would be a huge boost. A spiffy GPU always helps.

The only time I don't get the "attractive person" moodlet is when they are of the non-preferred gender. It would appear that all my sims are easy.

Streakers plus non-barbie skintones make for interesting keggers.

I think putting FAQ in the title immediately makes snowflakes skip it. After all their question is so unique it could never be frequently asked.
99  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Uni Life Thread on: 2013 March 09, 21:25:10
The roomies in the frat house have red portraits almost constantly. Every now and then I take pity and "maxmotives" them so they can do stuff without falling asleep on the floor. They also have zero cooking skills and insist on burning everything.

I am doing the 12 credits a week option, there are 2 classes a day on Mon, Wed, Fri and a lecture on Tues and Thurs. I haven't really noticed it going down, since I have almost maxed out the meter and it is only Wed morning [before class]. Maybe the more classes you take, the less chance for serious decay. The downside is no real socialising.

I don't have origin installed. I loathe origin.
100  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Uni Life Thread on: 2013 March 09, 06:22:49
Uni Life:

The roommates feature is pretty cool. Until they all stand in your bedroom listening to some twat play guitar.

Bonfires are cool. You can throw a test tube in, it produced fireworks.

Kegstands.

You get Dare opportunities, including "Kiss a random sim". There is now an option to "kiss in the heat of the moment" which is available as soon as you've been introduced. This one left the sim with a "being creepy" social tone.

I like the text messaging option on the phones.

Not a bad expansion so far. I am waiting to see what is borked though.

Edited to add:

Didn't take long for a bork. Queue to the classroom door, took 30+ sim minutes to get it.
