Sims DO NOT age on community lots, Moving a lot from Uni to another hood can, and often does, prevent all aging, period. It cannot be fixed from what I have found. EA mentioned in their Seasons glitch list that the community lot seasons were messed up, and that it will be addressed in a patch.

Yes, I saw that later, but it wasn't in your first post. I was simply explaining what I meant to Diala, who thought I had no clue about fresh food. I should have typed "didn't understand", rather than "don't understand." In fact, I think I will fix that now.

The real benefit of "freshness" is that it makes food be more filling. Food such as TV Dinners and Lunch Meat Sandwiches actually fill up a Sim.
I understand the purpose of "freshness", and what it does very well. I just didn't understand why one would actually want to cheat on that. Gardening and fishing aren't difficult, and much of what the EP is about in the first place. Kind of seems to defeat the purpose. *That* is what I didn't understand. Edited for clarity.

I use the invisible recolor on many of my business lots, and most often use ctrl+alt to place it over the open close sign (legally), or I place it directly above the island counter against the wall, close to where the register is placed. Or, I place it next to a painting or light fixture, rather than over...above a stereo, etc. Basically, I place it next to, or above something I can remember where it is.

Just to make sure I understand what I've read... Installing the newest pets patch with seasons installed is NOT going to apply all the fixes it mentiones for pets? I need to uninstall seasons, install new pets patch, then reinstall seasons to have the patch work 100%?
I tried both ways, as I said, and I would say yes.

Then you have exceptionally stupid sims, and a knack for rolling the least likely odds. I play an average of 15 hours a day, every day, myself. Last accidental death I had was the hot tub with a visiting sim before Pescado posted a fix for that about 3 weeks ago. Before that...um. Been over a year. I can't figure out for the life of me how you got a sim to die in a pool without removing the ladder.

I have to agree with Orikes, and like most people here, I have had very few accidental deaths in my game. Maybe 3 or 4 since I bought the game in Dec 2004.

All my cheats have been working fine since Seasons. Haven't changed the file (other than adding a couple of things) since OFB. I'll attach mine here and you can try it with your own aliases.

It belongs in My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Config
My cheats are written like so:
alias snapn "boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false" "snap to grid = no" "snap to grid = no" alias snapy "boolProp snapObjectsToGrid true" "snap to grid = yes" "snap to grid = yes"
alias flrn "boolprop constrainFloorElevation false" "Floors Weird" "Floors weird" alias flry "boolprop constrainFloorElevation true" "Floors normal" "Floors normal"
Not sure if that will make a difference, but it works for me. Putting it in the Config folder will help, too.

I installed over Seasons first and noticed a couple of differences. Thought it was working ok. Then, after uninstalling, patching, and reinstalling, I realized that really did fix things. Only things I noticed was that the maid kept cleaning the tank, only without making a puddle. Recolors were packaged with lots, but the Sims2Pack installer is separate.

Arrived back early.
Household: Taylor
Elder female, Vanessa. Adult dog, Kicker. Live alone, Downtown residence. Vanessa's husband died 4 sim days earlier. Nothing else of significance happened,
Originally left in a custom car, Delorian. Arrived at the downtown park lot 1 hour later (this seems to be consistent with all lots) Vanessa Ice-skated, the dog wandered around. When I told her to drive home, there was an error related to the car and the time adjustment. I ended up having to exit the lot without saving. After I reloaded her lot, I changed out the Delorian for a Landwhale. Sent Vanessa and Kicker to the other downtown park at 20:43, arrived at 21:41. Didn't do much, just played fetch, etc. They left the park at 00:54. They arrived home at 20:58. This second trip produced no errors.
I have used this custom car many times during testing without issue. Still can't find any consistency orther than one owned business in the shopping district seems to have more problems than the others. Arriving at triple speed mostly, and have had one sim return home immediately from that lot. I am building another lot like that in shopping to see what happens. Not sure if screenshots will help you, but I take them when they leave, arrive, leave community lot, and come home. Mostly to help me remember, and perhaps find something on the lot that is on other lots causing problems. If you do want them, I will just rar them with the object errors in the future.
ETA: I neglected to note that the 50-60 minute time difference does not seem to happen when an owner visits their own business.

The fishtank does work now if you uninstall Seasons (I uninstalled Pets, too) Then patch Pets, then install Seasons. I usually do this on another Windows account so my main game doesn't get touched, and none of that moving folders stuff happens. They did fix the NPC hair/thumbnails, too.

I backed up my game, installed it on top of Seasons, and am playing a lot right now. No resetting, and no problems so far. Will edit shortly to update. This will happen more than once.
Edit 1: The maid getting stuck on the fishtank still happens. The only difference is that they don't make a puddle and stop to mop it up. Not sure if that is post-Seasons stuff (henceforth known as PS)
Packaging lots DOES include recolors and cc objects now.
