I think it may depend on what you cloned it from - the Alienware doesn't work in Uni either, for example.
Not sure how to fix it though, so it will work.

See, I didn't think it actually was fixed for the College interactions, only the OFB ones. I had an Alienware in my Sim's house and I had to sell it and buy a regular compy for them to apply for scholarships and whatnot, and I do have his fix.

I've only read the thread too and it reads as though Motoki made the fix for Uni as well as OFB - but it replaces the original file
