THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Oh yeah, I love those moments.

OK, I lied, I don't love them but I find them quite amusing. Like farmer Ezra feeding the gargoyles at the cemetery or the boy who had to tell a joke so bad, he told it right through the bathroom door - talk about impatience.

What the hell dad?

Pfft. I had an adult holding her toddler while it transitioned into a child. Some strange broken arm action going on here, then one of those creepy "grown-up-holding-seven-year-old-like-a-three-year-old" things, then she dumped the kid on the floor where it sat like a toddler.

No lasting effects, luckily.

Pity they can't wear custom PJs!  A nice maternity lounging suit would be cool.

Zephyr -- check out Sims2UK for maternity clothes.  They show up under pjs for the pregnant sims so that's what you have to dress them in, but they've got jumpers, suits and dresses.  They look normal on the preggers sims too.  Hope you like!

Thanks a bunch, I'll certainly take a look!

Eesh, I've had those too, sometimes the child seems to be embedded in the parent's torso and I've had to use moveobjects to remove it.

Like the teddy bear used to get stuck before the first patch?

I never installed the patch because I planned on installing the EPs. I don't use the bear often so I'd forgotten about that until it happened the other day. It was actually really cool because they still used it except that I could see the actual animations without the bear in the way. Moving objects while they're in use makes for great storytelling... that is, if you're a great story teller, which unfortunately I'm not.

"Oh, are you a REAL genie?"  LOL!

I don't have much in the line of photos now because I wiped them out with my excess neighborhoods yesterday, but last night I snagged a couple.  This first one is of my guy who just started out like the Xtreme Legacy challenge.  The first picture is Aristotle Rembrandt himself, and the second picture is his 'house' (he finally got enough aspiration points to get himself a noodle soother and got a promotion with a big enough bonus for the tub--to this point he'd been showering on community lots).  The third picture is his mail lady out on her deliveries.  She seems a bit disturbed.  Hmmm.  I wonder if she'd be interested in settling down with the fella with the tub in his yard! Cheesy

It doesn't hurt to install the Sims2 patch to the stand-alone game, if you install EPs they check and find it and don't upgrade again.

Ever have those moments in your game where you press the pause button... and you notice something really, really hilarious or surreal is going on?  This one just jumped out at me a few days ago.
Very nice!   Grin

Here's a recent one of mine (I mean sure, Sally is Romance and working on the "Twenty lovers" LTW and all, but talk about sexism!):

How some men think.
This is Professor Somebody, one of Sally's daughter's profs from college, and Sally's lover number 14 or so. Gina's been introducing Sally to college friends to help her with her LTW, as the home neighborhood is running out of spare adults.

(It only showed this way from certain angles; I was lucky to notice it while on pause looking at something else.)

You got crazy bubbles too? I've had two sims develop crazy bubbles like that. One had it happen while meditating, and another time Marsha Bruenig walked by the house with bubbles trailing along behind her. It was quite freaky.

I've had them after supercleaning, the bubbles just stick... I've also seen them keep the waves after swimming, those who have zzzzs all day, and a teen who is still glowing blue 3 weeks after a shot of elixer.
