The HoG works for leftovers. You don't have to hover the food exactly over the fridge, just let the fridge highlight and the food will go in from any position.

Is there some way to get part of a family to move out of a household? I have 4 sims, two who are married and just had a baby. Obviously it is logical that they would want to move out and start their own household but when I try to move them out, the whole family is set to move.
I've had several jumpbugs but nothing I can't live with.
Hate the tutorials.
HATE, HATE, HATE the men's hairstyles. Srsly, it just looks like a lump of dough set up there on their heads. This was the best they could do?
And of course the men get screwed again with lack of clothing options.
My neighborhoods are all populated with the fat and the elderly. I didn't know TS4 would be set up in God's Waiting Room.
I miss the Strangetown/aliens aspect of the game.
Normal careers would be nice.
No dishwashers? what??
omg, quit push upping, sit upping every.freaking.where.

On the plus side, fast loading times. Roll Eyes

To merge/split/move out/delete, go to manage world and click on an occupied house. There is an option with 3 dots, choose that one to manage households. A popup will show played and unplayed households. When you click on the household you want to edit, a secondary popup have options at the bottom and choose the one to split/merge households. From there it runs like Sims 3 but if you want to split the household, you have to tick the new household box. Hope that is clear.

If you have the base game named Refresh or bought a deluxe EP that includes the base game during 2012, I think, then you will not be able to bypass the launcher with the .exe.  It will auto update your game too, because the launcher always comes up. Sorry.

Yes I realize I didn't have to buy it  I have no idea what a ccmerge fail is its coming from my launcher yes in the backup folder but how do you replace it if it fails?
Umm I get that but what am I doing wrong?

Have you not read this?

Hopefully now they will see it?

Has anyone looked at the resources for the blackjack table? I have noticed that inactive Sims do not come to the blackjack table, so if only one sim from a household comes to the casino, they are the only ones playing. I just wondered if there was an autonomy for inactive Sims?
6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Smaller Port-a-Party Lot on: 2012 April 01, 06:32:01
I just left the game, the Port-a-Party is on a 30x30 in the community lots bin. Are you talking about the live venue with the huge sign out front?

I know it is a bit early, but has anyone seen the gypsy hair from the magic pack without the silly decoration?

I am looking for the same thing. When I find it, you will be the first to know. Hate when EA does that.

Well I'm glad you managed to get the set. I can't even view the details of the Climbing Wall at the site as all I get is a 404.

Same here. I was trying to get the rock climbing wall separately and post, but that page doesn't work. I have the other parts separate right now, guess I will prepare it until the rock climbing wall comes up. Bummer.

14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: GOOD worlds that incorporate ALL EPs. on: 2011 December 24, 18:31:31
LynxAQ redesigned Sunset Valley in CAW for more room and updated the world to include Pets lots. So it uses all EPs.  I am very impressed with this world, lots of room for plopping more lots, and it is populated with the original families. I read the family relationships may be broken, so if any of them moved out, they are not related anymore. Also friendships and all are broken and the cemetery have blank tombstones.  It doesn't bother me because I never play the original families, replace them with my own families and lots. You can check it out on the official forums. If you can't get on there, then here is the mediafire link: http://www.mediafire.com/?53dydv0izinj8iv.

Point Bundle - thanks, that'd be the one I'm looking for because I used to have it and now, since I did a clean out, I've lost it. Thanks also Notouching, they'll be worth a look if I can't figure out which point bundle I need.

Be careful when placing the Banquet Fan, the footprint does cause route failures because the sims can't walk through the footprint. I do use it over tables, but in open spaces if there is not enough room for sims to walk around it there will be a route failure. I rarely use the Palm fan so I don't know if there will be the same problem with the footprint.

If you don't mind CC then Cmomoney's animated fan is the way to go. Also Morphead made some other styles, all of them are nice, but they are not updated for the Pets patch.  I still use them for the decor and style, I just don't turn them on for the animation. Morphead's fans do require Cmomoney's fan for the animations and Cmomoney's fan is updated so I just kept Morphead's fans in my game.

If anyone is inclined to enable the shop mode for the store in your game, don't leave it that way when you close your game. Several updaters have experienced it and think enabling the shop mode is crashing the game.  If anyone have enabled the shop mode and the game is crashing, you can modify the options.ini file to disable it by setting it back to 0.

Looks like a new window is included too.

http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/476118.page#7185277   Posted on the official forum, it's up but wacky right now. Anyone have a picture of it?

I am close to updating and play around with my vanilla save. Sigh.

I am suspicious about the objects also. I know EA polled about naming the new Alien world, also there is a magic cauldron coming. Both would go nicely with the trees for a whimsical lot, but still looks at these objects with distrust.  Undecided

I am told that the in-game advertising comes up in the catalog if "shop mode" is enabled. Whew!

Some new trees and terrain from the patch.

Watch for the in-game store advertising. Wanted something from the store but didn't have the simpoints, now you might be able to have it with the right amount of simpoints. Oh joy.

Hopefully Am will find a way to block these, I wonder if these show up if you own have everything.

I took the image from the official forum and I haven't patched yet so I wonder the same thing. Waiting to see what mods need updating.

Supposedly this EP was based on something that was asked for the most.

Bear in mind that the stupidest people on the planet all frequent the BBS and ask for things.

That explains it! I am a secret sadist and loves to have my brain suffer when I visit that site. Oh, the headaches.

Every so often I run across a gem, a link posted by bekkilyn.

I volunteer you to speak to EA's studio heads; they'll tell you the same thing. They're very comfortable moving the discussion towards how we make connected gameplay - be it co-operative or multiplayer or online services - as opposed to fire-and-forget, packaged goods only, single-player, 25-hours-and you're out. I think that model is finished.

Online is where the innovation, and the action, is at.

O rly?
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Pudding Factory is for downloads: put your lame requests & WCIFs here on: 2011 December 08, 18:27:52
I'm a little tired of screwing about with the in-game placement of new lots, without the ability to edit the terrain, and constantly getting "cannot place on unrouteable terrain" messages. So I was wondering if anyone managed to edit Sunset Valley in CAW and added lots? I know there are lots of custom worlds about, but almost all the buildings I've made are only suitable in Sunset Valley, and before I try getting CAW working and learn how to use it, I was hoping to find a world already done.

If you are able to get on the official forum,  LynxAQ has expanded Sunset Valley in CAW, updated to include lots for Pets. Only thing the family connections are broken and the graveyard tombstones are blank. I like the expansion and have been removing the families and residential lots with my own, but it does allow for more home placement.

In response to Coltraz about the pieces from the Mid-Century kitchen named Murano, I thought the same thing. Is that prick working for EA now? Maybe Thomass will jump on that and make false claims again.
