They tend to bobble heads when they are waiting for something;ie,waiting to be greeted. I think it is normal. I wouldn't worry about it or less you can't interact with them or their querys drop.

I think a lot has changed with NL;ie,the Dreamer's bills being gone. Maybe, the rejection is not guaranteed any more. I actually like Don in NL. I think he is different somehow. Maybe because he was allowed to be himself more. In my last game,I made him a townie cause I hated him. He is going to be an elder in three days in this game. I had he and Cassie marry once, but at his house in my first game but I didn't like them being together so I immediately started over so I never experience the rejection at the alter. I liked Cassie and didn't want that in her memories. This game she caught Don cheating(this time it was on accident I actually wanted them to stay together for a while) But what was funny is that Don caught Nina and Dina cheating before he was able to get with them. I thought that was funny. Obviously, Don forgave her cause they are now married and perma-plat.

In my last game, when I discovered that I could send townies to college for the first time, I sent all of the teen townies to college and was really surprised by their memories. The Ricky kid, I didn't like him so none of my kids got to know him, I didn't even know that he was romance sim(explains a lot). Well, three other townie girls were in love with him. I thought that it was pre made till I restarted my game and sent him to college right away, apparantly,he was automously kissing the girls behind my back. I thought that they couldn't autonmousy give a first kiss?? Hence, the lack of interaction causes despiration.

The reason Don skips out on Cassie is because their relationship is not high enough. It is a trap. If you play Don first and get their relationship up then go to the Goth house you shouldn't have trouble. Marrying them is not a good idea though,he is much happier with Nina or Dina(nina first). He and Cassie mostly just co-exist but with Nina he can't keep his hands off her--at least in my game. Cassie seems a bit cold, I have been tempted to change her aspiration but nothing else seems to fit. She was kind of a nothing in my other games but with NL she has become the DIVA. I had to buy her a Limo to fit her attitude she was always so humble but now she is in every outing and when I entered the Goth house for the first time, she was fat(didn't have any blue on her meter). I guess that is the price you pay to live the high life. I had to max her body because she gets into so many fights. I leave her trash can laying down because the moment it is put up someone comes and knocks it over again(need to get a hack). I use the InSIMenator to delete the trash.

After spawning everyone's biological clock, I haven't had any trouble till today. One of my romance Uni sims was on a date downtown and I ran across Consorts wife(he died not too long ago)and I was checking her memories to make sure there wasn't going to be a fight(see if the date also dated her) Well, I noticed all these cheating icons and I was like cheating who?? Apparantly there is a prob when Consort died cause every guy she flirts with she gets a cheating icon. Better check things out in SimPE--here we go again!!!

I've actually found that with NL, some settings do remain, such as zapped visitors, at least until you close your game down and reload.
Boy I haven't been here for a while. LizzLove's bed has to be set everytime you visit. I just pause the game when they arrive and turn them off till I need one. You know what is wierd, I was always bothered by the townie children and deleted them whenever they came home with the children, but I started turning them into teens whenever I see them and I tend to send them to Uni before the ingame teens. They are really sociable and they become really good friends. All the townies are better when you have control over them. I find that even with my own sims that if I don't play them for too long they become more aggressive. They learn from us and if they are left to themselves they get mean and pushy. Sophie isn't that bad if you send her to Uni right away before she becomes a B****.

Prior to reinstalling (and hence, installing Nightlife), I'd never had twins before in over a year of play. I'm now wondering if NL has upped the odds, or if I've installed something by accident. I'm finding it... rather annoying. [/quote] That is probably the reason, it has probably backed up. You usually have spurts of twins, since you haven't had them before, you got a spurt. I have had the usual amount of twins. For some reason,in my game,Titania always has a set of twins. This is the third time playing her and she had twin girls. The other times it was boys. I had another couple have twins but no one else. About the same if not less than usual. Cassandra usually has twins but I had her adopt this time around.

I just can't get the desire to play the game lately. I think about it, I sort of want to sometimes, but I just can't do it. I wish I had your mindset about the game right now, Motoki, cause I can't keep my hands off the game and it's keeping me from doing what I really should be doing. I go through streaks where I can be satisfied with just a few hours of playing to where I can't stop and it feels like an addiction. Same here. I wish that I would get bored with it but day in and day out--here I am. I guess it is because I used to spend hours playing Barbies when I was little--pretty much the same thing. I can watch movies over and over till I have them memorized. I guess I am an obsessed person. But on the upnote,I don't drink, smoke,or swear--does that count for something??

I used the plan outfit with boolprop with no probs so it probably is a combination of things that caused the problems with the carpool but I did come into probs when I tryed to use it on a townie downtown(I knew I couldn't change his outfit, but I thought that i might be able to get him out of his work clothes) That was a big mistake. It rendered him invisible and it was a bugger to fix him. Why oh why did they have to change plan outfit--life was so simple then.

You really have to be careful with the romance mods. With Inteen, you will get teen blind dates for your adult sim if they are the best suited for them. And don't get me started with adding Lizz's waterbed to the mix. All I have to say is "remember to turn it off after you use it" I spent a lot of time in SimPE fixing the fateful night at the Bordello when I first realized that a community lot doesn't hold your mod settings after you leave it. Poor Randy.

What I do with guests is I macro socialize them till I'm done with them and then I have them go home. I also give them a motive boost cause they usually arrive pretty low on their motives. But I believe meal time is for the family only maybe a boy or girl friend now and again. But guests are gone by mealtime. The socializer is great cause you don't have to babysit them just check in once in a while.

I have a weird situation,Consort married a romance sim with a romance teen daughter. And Tybalt caressed her the first time he saw her(at the wedding)...am I wrong but aren't they considered family usually. Seems to me that Maxis is pretty strict with family. Is this a glitch or is it normal. He has three bolts for his step mom too but he hasn't seen her since starting college so I don't know if there are options. He has all options with his step sister I tryed to keep them apart but her grabbed her and started making out with her when my back was turned--perve!!!

I would like to know how the initial picking of the outing goes. You know when you first move in someone is called for an outing. It doesn't seem fair because it is always the same person. It is okay when the romance sim gets called, but when it is her wealth sister who wants to paint to make money,it's a little annoying. I have a set of sisters that inhabit all my towns (cause I love them so much) and in Pleasantville the romance sister, Baby Girl(--before I knew how to correct it--now it's her name) got all the outings which was okay even though I felt bad for her sister, Taula. But in Veronaville it is her sister who is getting the calls(she really doesn't care--she has gotten a Fleur fountain, piano, kareoke machine, and a expensive stereo, plus a BBQ that we sold but she wants to earn the money and then spend it. Now her sister who has the 20 woohoo wants only knows 10 of her future lovers instead of 15-20. Is there something that will direct the call to the person you want it to go to like most of the time the person who answers the phone is the person the call is for. It doesn't seem to work that way with this. I have them go immediately to the store after moving in so they will meet some townies before the welcome wagon comes but that doesn't work for teens because they have to go to school.

It has to be something wrong because they should have bolts. When they first got together they had the extra options with the bolts on them. They checked each other out and had the hot stuff reaction. They have the family figure on each other's icon like they were married but their not. They have woohooed and have the option to get engaged but they don't have hearts or the memory of falling in love plus they can watch the other woohoo and not get jealous??? Weird. I think I might resurrect them in Pleasantville and see if the same thing happens. Maybe I'll kill them off and have their kids resurrect them with the resurrcto--thingy. Either that or I'll just leave it because they both like someone else better anyways.

I resurrected the Tricou family--all except for the elders, and I did it from SimPE. All went well except for the f in the kids grades and in work. Easily fixed with the InSIMenator but the big prob was with the parents. They can have romantic relations with each other and probably can get married but they can't fall in love and their bolts don't show. I think that I might have to switch parents??? I checked with SimPE and they are not listed in the family tree and I unclicked the family in relations, I even went so far as to erase the memory that they were ever married in the first place from everyone's memories. Didn't help.

It is true, since they don't have hearts, they don't get jealous. I had the other male make out with he guy's girl right in front of him and he didn't do anything. Then I thought, well,he is a romance sim maybe he doesn't mind. Then I had the other female make out and then woohoo right in front of her and she didn't bat an eye. Interesting, I didn't save of course, but does leave an interesting situation--indeed!!

The matchmaker is scarry situation, Isabelle Monty got Puck Summerdream as a match --that was awkward--I usually make it work when I get a teen and adult (being a perfectionist I have to have all dream dates) but I made an exception with this one and put my foot down. Just say NO man!!! Nervous got Erin Singles as a matched date--I would of never put them together. I have a lot of teens as matched dates--I even had an adult ask a teen on a date( I thought it was an outing--or I would of never said ok). That is probably the one thing that I don't like about Inteen. When I pay for a date --I want it to be age appropriate.

It's funny how almost all the main characters in all the towns are flagged as family but it doesn't effect their romantic escapades. However, I'm curious to something--any opinions?? I resurrected the Tricou family in Strangetown everyone except the elders. The two couples, however; are flagged as family--with the people sign. They can have romantic relations with each other including comittment but they don't have any lightning bolts on their icons eventhough they are highly attracted to each other, and even though they should be in love with 100/100 relationship and are woohooing. They don't get any hearts and don't officially fall in love. I'm going to try the biological clock but this seems like a different prob. I went to SimPE and they are not in each other's family tree I unclicked the family sign--nothing. I even went so far as to delete from everyone's memory that they were ever married in the first place--nothing. I guess they will have to switch spouses. I wonder though, if they don't have hearts for each other, then maybe they won't get jealous??? That could be a plus--marriage but no jealousy---maybe I'll test out that theory!!!

Checking with Inteen, it seems that Strangetown and Veronaville have alot of characters with bad data. If you have Inteen, you should spawn their biological clock right away and it corrects the bad data. I knew this was a problem with townies but not main characters. This is probably why I always have probs in Veronaville and a little less in Strangetown-usually only with Jenny. This is probably why Poll. #9 and Jenny always have a bogus baby because Maxis didn't figure on them ever having a natural baby and didn't provide correct DNA for them. That also happened to Caliban and Cordiela Capp when I resurrected them. Their baby was almost Identical to Jenny's baby. It must be like a defalt baby.

I had that happen at the Dreamer house and I didn't do anything at the street. I was at triple speed and the mail person got stuck in a loop and it happens every day that she comes now. I have the InSIMinator and I delete her every day after she does the cycle once and I always get the mail and coupons. It is annoying but I think it is"just one of those things" I don't think you did anything wrong it just happened. In my case,I hadn't even decorated the house yet let alone the yard.

Well, I don't know what the cause of my prob is but I did resolve it. Apparantly, this effects only married adult couples and if I access their biological clock(inteen)and put it in their inventory the problem is solved. They age again and are no longer called to the bus. This goes for the male as well as the female. So I guess that Isabelle and Oberon can be together for the little time Isabelle has left. It was funny, after the date fiasco with Oberon(couldn't be romantic) I had Isabelle call the Gypsy to get a date hoping that she would get an elder. She got Puck--OMG. Not a good day for her.

I have a little bit of advice. People probably have figured this out but for newbies. Wait till the date bringing the flowers has completely left the lot before putting the flowers in their inventory or the date will get stuck on the lot. Also when you are expecting flowers don't have the speed on triple cause they can lose their flowers or get stuck. It is also annoying if the sim with the flowers has to alter their course due to people or cars they will walk off with the flowers in their hands. Also, don't go to an outing with a teen after curfew because they may have a pack of teens with them and give you that --should plan better next time--message and ditch you.

I don't think they pay for the gifts. Brandi broke gave one of my sims a dance sphere for an outing that he was invited to and there is NO way she could afford that. She had to borrow money for the grocery bill. Last night I was playing Regan and Cornwall Capp and they went on three conscecutive(??)outings and in a few hours they had a dance shere, hot tub,and a Fleur Fountain on their front porch. Very lucritive night.
