26  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Things NEVER done on Sims 3? on: 2010 December 14, 20:46:32
I'm with the Witch on this one, I'd like to see same sex couples/men being able to get pregnant. This is already done on a different core mod, with options as to which sim, dominate or passive, gets pregnant. It also has options like if you want men to get pregnant in a straight relationship as well. And since "THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE,"  I currently don't use Awesomemod. So if there was something like this that was compatible with Awesomemod that would be...awesome.
The Twallanian Woohooer allows this, last time I checked.

It's also compatible with AM. Twallan's Woohooer is pretty nice, actually. There's a tuning file you can download to tweak it to your liking.

Yea I know, I just don't like the extra pie menus Twallan's mods add. It is better than nothing I suppose, since he does update rather quickly.

All your screen shot proved is that you don't understand the concept of cropping. What's all this talk of intelligence, you can't even figure out how to properly display an avatar, let alone figure out how you've borked your game. Now who's being a shouty lil cunt?
29  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 December 09, 07:06:05
Normally items from the store say you need update 1.5 to use but for BB it just says you need the latest update. So either you are SOL or you need to just suck it up and update. You're gonna have to sooner or later. And seriously what Mods must you have so badly that haven't been updated yet or actually need to be.
30  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.18/2.13/3.9/4.6/5.4/6.1 on: 2010 December 06, 19:45:19
And how THE FUCK do you know whats in my mods folder you USELESS, SHITTY LITTLE CUNT?
Or did you intentionally want to look stupid? Do you not feel embarrassed when you fuck up so bad, every single word you say reinforcing our view that you are a complete waste of flesh. That flesh could be used to make crisp packets. Or are you trying to reach a new level of retardation? Because you are flying dangerously low on my radar.
To not have a purpose, that's one thing. But if your only purpose in life is to constantly shame yourself with your appalling lack of info on a daily basis like that, well that's shocking. Take a bow for that one.

Well seeing as the shells DO show up, what other conclusion would you want anyone(Shouty Voles included) to draw? Especially since you offer no more information than "I haz pwoblem, halp me." Speshul Snowflake as you may or may not be, we do need more info, like what fucking mods you ARE using.

And what makes you think the current mod you are using that conflicts with the scrolling UI isn't going to bork this mod too?
32  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 19h November 2010 on: 2010 November 25, 16:59:01
You can now scroll through your non default skins without a mod.
33  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 19h November 2010 on: 2010 November 25, 16:46:03
Anach, do you plan on updating CASSkins (or adding a different package) with more space for ND skins?

With the latest patch this mod is no longer needed.
34  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: More Awful Than You: December - Painful Patterns on: 2010 November 24, 18:33:33
It look like all they did was do a Google image search for a picture of tiling stones.
Looks like any EAxis made stone pattern to me, but where's the moss and why is it on the ceiling?
35  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Motive Decay rates on: 2010 November 19, 02:16:33
My point, in case it's not painfully obvious by now due to endless repetitiion, is that whereas a proper, well-done sequel matches its predecessor in every respect while surpassing it in many ways, TS3 did not live up to these expectations.  TS2 had story mode (the feature with pictures and captions) both in-game and online; EA found it prudent to have storytelling features online for TS3, but left it out of the actual game.  One has to exit the game, manually upload the photos, and piece it all together on the website.  This is a clear step backwards.  Then there's the universal aging.  In TS2, each family had its own game file, and remained safely tucked away (in stasis) while you played other families; in TS3, as you play one family, the AI has control over everyone else and makes them do things without your consent.  Unless you only ever play one family, this breaks the consistency of gameplay, so that you don't have full control over any of your families, and when you go back to them, they will never be in the same place you left them.  This problem gets worse the more families you are trying to control.  Some players are happy to relinquish control of some of their sims to the AI, but not everyone feels this way.  The game is sorely lacking for those of us who prefer to run multiple families AND have consistent control over them, and this violates the often repeated TS3 slogan "something for everybody."  Introducing universal aging was a bold move, and EA didn't implement it very well.  Instead of moving in a direction that reduced the variety of gameplay possible, they should have been more meticulous in their programming so as to include all forms of play that were possible in TS2.  It is like that thing about not shiitting on the pot or something like that - do it right or don't change it at all.

Oh will you just shut the fuck up already, please.

I was wondering if there was a mod to remove those horrible sounds from trying to place a door or window in build mode? I really don't know if that is a mod that would be too complex or not. It makes me crazy when I'm building. Especially when I have the "Move objects" cheat on.
I made a mod for this. To use it, turn your speakers all the way down when you're in Build Mode, then turn them up again when you start to play your Sims. It works really nicely and is compatible with all the expansions.

I always find muting the sound effects on the audio tab in options to work.

Hi, I'm aware I'm gonna look like a total noob here but I'm a bit stuck  Tongue

I've followed all the instructions to install the Store content with Compressorizor Redux/s3rc, and the items show up the launcher as "installed", then I run the game, the items aren't in game, so I exit the game and go back to the launcher to find they're back to being "uninstalled".

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Thanks

If you followed the instructions they would be installed correctly.

Didn't someone post earlier that AM kills the food truck?
39  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 November 11, 04:59:11
If you only decrapped one of them then only one of them installed.

Here is the birthday set all-in-one, HERE. And it looks like you do get this on your birthday.
41  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 November 08, 06:29:33
Thou shall not share decrapified sim3packs.
42  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 November 05, 01:46:45
i for some reason cant install either laundry set i decrapped but it didnt make any diffrence?

Then you my dear are doing something wrong. Re-download the untouched set and make sure your decrap files are all up to date, then try again.

What color are your vamps eyes turning? I've seen pics of red eyes but all I seem to get are a translucent blue/grey color.

46  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Request for Custom "No Cut-Away" Wall Style on: 2010 November 02, 04:28:02
Why not just use the walls always up option? Also there's no such thing as a non-default wall. The closest thing to what your are asking for would be a decorative item that looks like a wall section.
47  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Does anyone make realistic skin tones in Sims 3 3 pack format? on: 2010 November 02, 02:39:17

Right. Don't start with me, sunshine, I'm in no mood.

Drop the rows of dots, stop signing your name - we can SEE who you are - and don't pull dumb blonde on MATY. Carry on like an igmo, and I'll chuck you in the clink for the night.

LMFOA

Custom Content (CAS and build/buy stuff) generally don't/shouldn't fuck with your game. It's the out of date mods that you kept in the game post update that are putting your game on the fritz.
48  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Building Your Own Apartments: Late Night on: 2010 November 01, 14:23:57
The apartment mailbox and trash shoot do show up using S3OC, but even with new room/function tags they are still not showing up in game. Unless I'm doing it wrong, I'm assuming it would be as easy to clone object, tick new function tags and save.
49  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Finding the mesh for the juice box-o-blood on: 2010 October 31, 21:51:35
I doubled checked in game, it's the same. Or atleast it looks the same in my game.
50  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Finding the mesh for the juice box-o-blood on: 2010 October 31, 19:28:35
Isn't there a file that tells the game which mesh to use? I thought that was the case. Or does the game just match up instance ID's? I want to either make a custom mesh or make the game use the wine bottle mesh instead. I'm sure I'll have no problem changing the texture, it's the meshing/coding I need help with.
