A lot of feeEssen's meshes look like the kind of coffee mugs people make in ceramics therapy classes at mental hospitals to to pass the time between electro shocks.
Oh, god. That's so funny, and so true! If Fee didn't post a new mesh every single day, maybe she'd be able to polish her creations until they looked a bit less clunky. I don't quite get why she feels compelled to churn this stuff out at such a great rate. As someone else said, some of her ideas are worthwhile, but the execution is so clumsy.

I think Khan was trying to be funny, not uppity. I think it's valid to ask whether the meshes should have been part of the score, especially since Pescado indicated on page 6 that Warlock's idiotic meshes didn't make clothes whorish. I know this is a board where people frequently get their lips bitten off, but most of your responses to Khan struck me as overly seriously, especially considering you're judges in a contest for whore clothes. Relax.
I'm afraid that I agree, and I'm neither spambi nor Khan! Think fun, people, fun.

2. Knowledge sims no longer obsessed with attempted suicide unless low ASP.
Almost everybody I hang out with regularly in real life would be Knowledge if they were a sim, probably because most other things pall with time, whereas knowledge has infinite variety. None of my friends have suicidal tendencies, so I'm glad to see that their electronic counterparts are no longer tying up the suicide hotline. :-)

Oh, great. One less creator to point and laugh at. What did you go and do that for, Chienne? Ah, but I didn't even try to talk her out of doing her "sexy" granny clothes. Since the inappropriate sexualization of the elderly doesn't seem to me to be a widespread social problem -- the reverse, if anything -- I didn't bring up her unusual designs for elderly ladies. So she'll still make stuff you can point and laugh at. :-)

Yes, I'll admit it....I have a vendetta against juttapoontah
I had an exchange of PM's with Jutta about her inappropriately sexy children's clothes, and she says she isn't going to do that anymore. (In real life, I'm a therapist who specializes in working with adults who were abused as children, so I had plenty of examples to persuade her that sexualizing children is a Bad Idea.)

Thanks for this! I never buy the stuff packs -- I donate to free sites instead -- so I'm glad to have one of the handful of good things that are included in the stuff packs.

When I try to load a neighborhood after installing the patch, the choose-a-neighborhood screen is fine, but once I pick a neighborhood, its load screen flashes on and off. It gets the lights across the top that show that it's loading, but even when fully loaded, I still just have a flashing neighborhood load screen. Oh, joy, oh, rapture!
Guess it's time to go through the hacks one by one....
So, if Seasons wasn't already bothering you, installing the patch may not be worth the trouble it will cause.

They can, its not difficult at all, the water need decays in the same speed as hygiene, which is really slow. the Sun decays as slow as normal energy, even during the night. they can go anywhere and do anything without worry much. the real reason as the earlier poster said, was probably because they didn't have enough time to make all the mesh for different ages.
Hmm. Your plant sims must be different from mine. I noticed that when my normal sim went to work, the plant sim would have passed out if I hadn't watered him while she was gone.

we all know that sims like to party in the bathroom They really do. I'm doing the Insane Asylum Challenge. I've built them an enormous day room with everything the challenge allows, and where does everybody end up? In front of the single solitary toilet that's supposed to serve eight people. But it's not that they're lining up to use it; they're having pillow fights or playing red hands. Oh, sure if I wanted to have a pillow fight, I'd head for a 3x4 room instead of a room with space to run around in. Stupid sims. Does anybody know WHY they love the bathroom so much?

I wonder if it is at all possible to make the Plant Sims age normally (all age stages). There would need to be some other hack besides just adding some green skin, because I don't think children could stay inside the school (and away from the shower!) all day. The teens have a shorter school day, so I suppose they *might* be able to make it. It stil seems like it would be a pretty big stress, though. I figure this is why Plantsims age directly from toddler to adult -- because they'd die if you sent them to schooll!

I find the plantsim skin rather pretty, actually. When you put them in underwear you can see that the leaves are a hidden outfit, not part of the skin, and they have vines tattooed on their skin, it sort of matches Enyala's fantasy skins.
I agree; I think the vine and leaf tatoos are really pretty. I was surprised when people wanted to replace that with plain, solid green. I find plantsims tiring to play because they never go to sleep! I had no idea that I needed the momentary respite while my sims slept, but it looks as if I do. Sure, I could pause the game, but I like having a down period while my sims are peacefully sleeping and I'm thinking about what to have them do the next day. There's more of a "God's watching over you" feeling if I think about them while they sleep, as opposed to when I'm pausing the game. :-) I'm surprised that other sims have no reaction when someone changes into a plantsim. I appreciate their not caring about race or sexual orientation, but they do notice things like stinky sims; you'd think a wife would notice (not necessarily in a negative way, but *notice*) that her husband had turned green and sprouted leaves. When my guy turned into a plant sim, his wife came home from work and chatted as usual. About tennis. You'd think she'd at least say, "Hey, what happened to you while I was at work?!" :-) Someone asked if a sim who was born/spawned as a plant sim can be cured. Yup. My guy spawned a daughter, and I had her drink the potion when she grew up. I made her a Knowledge sim, partly because I play them the most, anyway, and partly because I thought a Knowledge sim could handle the trauma of changing races/species/whatever better than other sims. :-)

I'm guessing the Life Stories careers (game developer and entertainer) are the same as those in Seasons, so if we install seasons we should dump these? Can anyone confirm that?
Life Stories is Game DEVELOPER, whereas Seasons is Game PLAYER. I found myself wondering how many ordinary Sims players knew what a Gold Farmer was. :-) (Yes, I know what one is; helpful people don't have to write to explain it to me.)
