TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Poor Baby!

What was even funnier is that I was raising hell at my game because I had thought someone had walked off with the kid because I couldn't find him. My husband comes out and looks and starts laughing me and points to the changing table and asked what the hell happened to that kid. Yep the poor little feller got all stuck like that and no one could pick him up, even if I moved him on the floor, which looked even goofier. I had do delete the wee one and exit the lot and come back in. Just one of those things I guess.

I've become a genetic junky and I can't control myself. I like to create certain genetics and then mate them with townies or others I have created just to see wheat they will end up looking like. I'll have the same couple have a bazillion kids to see if I get repeats and I try to use unique looking folks to mix and match. I do this over and over…. And yeah, hi, my names theisz and I am a genetic junky.

Man, the poor things these children endure. My poor toddler was left with his ass stuck up in the air. All alone and abandoned and what a perfect face!

So how would a dunce like me figure out which clothes were the problem. I've got clean installer and haven't noticed anything out of whack?. Speak slowly cuz I'm a completer moron when it comes to this kind of thing I used Bodyshop but you can use CAS as well. I went through my teens clothing and found clothes that I had recently downloaded that showed up as a Maxis item instead of whatever they were supposed to be. For example I have 5 of the same tan teen Maxis skirts in row that when I put my mouse over it had a description of something else. I had the mesh that went with it so it was not that, it just was not showing up properly for some reason. I also deleted any items that made the mannequin turn see thru. I had a couple shirts that when I selected them the top of the mannequin went blank. I don't know that they were necessarily converted from adult clothing, but they were definitely messing things up. Did I just make any sense? lol

I did a search for this problem to no avail so I hope this has not been already addressed. I use the hacked buy clothes at home Chesterstick Cherry Dresser2 and recently the mannequin has shifted down to where I cannot see the entire outfit. I attached a picture of it. Has anyone had this issue or know what may be the cause or resolution? Any help is much appreciated.

Yes well I am sure you saw my reply to that too. People over in that thread clubbing baby seals ain't go no room to talk. At least we're picking on an adult. Well I guess that's Kngidomapaloce problem and they'll just have to get over it.

I've stopped assigning owners to cars because of the issues I've had. I get the sim popping back on the lot after getting off work and the car never shows up unless I save and come back into the lot. I also get the drive to work option drop out of queue as they are walking to the car and what sucks is sometimes I do not see it in time and they miss work. I have watched and nothing has obstructed their path to the car it just drops out of queue. I've also sent them downtown and when I have them come home the sim has ended back on the lot with no car. This is with Maxis cars, not custom ones. Maybe something in my hacks folder is conflicting with something.

LOL I bet she went through here and wrote all our names down and put us all on moderated status. We've all got the scarlett letter it seems.
LOL Funny you should say that. After my comment in Twojeffs goodbye thread she put me said status. What I find even funnier is I haven't been back since and won't be going back. Only my opinion but, Rentwit is seriously suffering from borderline personality or Bi-Polar disorder. Hell maybe it's a mix of the two.

I was just browsing a a gaming site and noticed this game is due out in a few days. It looks rather like what I imagine a TS2 Superstar Expansion pack might be like. Anyone else heard about this game or planning on getting it? Looks like it's done by the same studio that did Black and White and Fable. More info on these pages: http://www.themoviesgame.com/http://www.lionhead.com/themovies/It's probably old news to some of you but I just noticed it. Truth be told I'm rather in a rut with TS2 and NL so maybe I'll get it and give a shot. Could be fun to make some aging diva ready for her closeup. LOL Motoki I love you. I had not seen this and my b-day is next week so I asked my hubby for it. I think it looks to be quite interesting. I need a break from NL so this will definitely come in handy.

Not only does it not make sense, I think that is VERY innappropriate modding etiquette. Is Vamp Cat prepared to duplicate all of Jeff's mods? How very rude. Exactly, very well stated. I think that the keys words here are inappropriate etiquette with more than just modding. Plain and simple. The lack of etiquette and severe lack of ethics is incredibly prolific with some of the modders on VS. But none of this surprises me when it comes to VS. I have come to accept the immature, condescending, bratty, vindictive, gonna stomp my feet and pout attitude from Rentwit and the consistent juvenile behavior from some of the others. They just cannot seem to help themselves. It's all done with malice and forethought and I find it all to be quite disgusting.

I'd like to know where I called them names though. I never called them any names in that post. Telling them to take their mouth diarrhea somewhere else is not calling them a name. But I guess to Rentwit it is.

You know, some people just piss me off to no end. Some twit named Dawnrider just had to go into Jeff's goodbye thread and spew verbal diarrhea. I'm sure my reply to them will be deleted.

I have a silly question re. downloads. If I delete a custom hairstyle I don't want anymore, or an item of clothing, will the mesh automatically be deleted as well?
I've been wondering this also as I have recently went through a "fall" cleaning and deleted tons of hairstyles I didn't want. Now I don't know which mesh belongs to what in order to delete the unwanted ones. It's the same thing with custom clothes meshes. I deleted the outfits but don't know which meshes belonged to them. Sucky.

Apparently he was born in 1972. OMFG, he's only several years younger than me. Now that is truly sad. What an ignoramus. I guess maturity is not one of his stronger traits.

Yes, the twit even has it blocked when you link to the faux front page. Did I mention that rentechd is a great flaming twit? I don't know which is worse, her or carrigon. Maybe it's a tie, its pretty close but I'm not sure yet.

Now that you mention it I have not had a single burglary. I have played many different families and played each individually for log periods of time. It could be just luck of the draw, but it is weird.
I have the no fire hack so I don't get those.

Never mind. Now I fell like a complete rod. They are not really vamps, it's just regular teens in vamp like attire. Man do I feel like a boob. LOL you think you feel bad? I started a thread about it. So yes, I also found out they're just goth looking teens. :p I guess there is no real way to make vampire sim templates for the bodyshop or CAS as that's something they have to change into in game. The outfits are nice though. I did make those two and made them brother and sister. I had to make a 'mom' but I'll just cut the family ties in SimPE. I made them vamps and am getting ready to make them townies via Inge's shrub. Funny, Amelia had a want to buy Vamprocillian. I guess she doesn't like being a vampire. You know I keep forgetting about Inge's shrub for making townies. I have it and keep forgetting about it. I'm glad you mentioned that so I can go make my own tonight. Then maybe I'll stop kvetching about the butt ugly townies with the noses that spread way too far across their face and chins so pointy they could poke an eye out.

I just went and downloaded them too. I wonder why their skin tone differs from the adult vamps. Do you think downloading these skins will correct the funky two toned teen vamps in the game? Probably not, just crazy thinking on my part.
