I have no issue finding /most/ of her stuff, but you're right, the rabbitholes have vanished. o.0 ... I wonder what happened.
377  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: New AwesomeMod Request Thread on: 2009 November 03, 19:58:56
Can  you make more realistic plants habitat? It is possible to make plants in pots to dry out and die ? It is possible to water them, for more realism? Smiley
Thank you!
Bad idea, because a lot of custom items are cloned from plants, so.. you might end up needing to 'water' your cans of paint, or cardboard boxes, books, or hand saws to keep them from 'dying' and someone would need to create dead versions of every single potted plant that can be watered..  and custom ones.. and what about the things like the daffodils in the vases that are already sitting in water?

I'd rather have garden plants become pottable, so the can all be dragged indoors.... But that would require meshing in addition to modding... and you can already sort of rig that setup.
378  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: New AwesomeMod Request Thread on: 2009 November 03, 01:18:03

Yes, I agree. I saw that issue some time after post that request. But it is not a problem... mod could "buy" only those rewards, that has an effect for other sims. Specially "hardly hungry", "cleany" (again don't know what it's name in english language version of the game, it makes sim rarely getting dirty and keep them clean more time) and "steel bladder" rewards.

By the way... very often I noticed that other sims on community lots standing, doing nothing for many sim hours and finally fall on the ground and sleep beacuse of out of energy. There is a lot of bench (for example in park), why they didn't return to their home or didn't get sleep on bench? They sometimes sleep on bench or return to home but very very rarely.
Yes, I have the latest version of AM and have set free will at max Wink

Why don't you just go through and use the 'lifetimehappiness' cheat on every sim your sims interact with and give them those 3 rewards if you want them so badly? Turn on 'no stalker swarm' and the idiots won't all flock to where ever your sims all with low motives all the time either. OR, if you don't want to use debugging cheats to 'fix' everyone who is wetting themselves or passing out, get a moodlet manager and use that on everyone your sims interact with.

@Lion, that may be impractical because the sims are gaining an invisible 'dancing' skill while dancing.
379  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Questions about The Sims 3 Launcher on: 2009 November 01, 05:05:51
The complete set is what you install via the launcher, when being installed it unpacks itself into those the individual items you see later, but it still lists itself (the whole pack) as an installed item.
380  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Working our way toward Period Towns One Mod At A Time on: 2009 October 29, 17:57:44
It shouldn't be too difficult to turn the moped in the expansion pack into something vintage, without needing to mess with animations.
381  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Glitched items: Family Inventory on: 2009 October 25, 23:08:51
I have both issues mentioned, I'm about to try coconnor's method to get rid of the glitched food, but I do.. have a way for you to get rid of your glitched family inventory. Move a random sim in. Move anything you want to keep out of the inventory. Move that sim out, and make them the active family. They will retain the family inventory.. then you can switch back to your actual family and they won't have that crap in the family inventory.
382  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Glowing objects from performing experiments on: 2009 October 18, 19:52:49
Since people have been able to get rid of the musical notes and Zzzz, it shouldn't be impossible to get rid of the science effects.
383  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Download Manager? (to find invisible files) on: 2009 October 18, 00:42:17
Open up the launcher and click on installed content. It will take eons to load. You can find what you are looking for somewhere in there depending on how much stuff is already installed. If it's sim specific stuff, click the tab with the 'family' on it. Somtimes everything there won't show up though so you'll have to find it in the main tab.

As for stuff installing or not with lots/sims, everything made with TSR's workshop is packed along with the download. Package files do not come with downloads.
384  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Jeans and top glitch on: 2009 October 15, 07:13:07
That's odd. I noticed with something else from netshow that they mark odd things as naked. Because of that 70% of my sims had kitty ears when nude until I deleted the ears.

I hope you find the problem. :/
385  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Jeans and top glitch on: 2009 October 15, 04:52:06
The final picture is from netshow, they're listed at simscave, so you may want to check that.

There's already a polygamy mod somewhere, and smiting is easy with Dexter the teddy bear, so your prediction is already true Zaz.  Tongue
387  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Interest Check: New 'Hood on: 2009 October 11, 01:59:59
Before I begin, however, I have some questions:

-Would you play in a town that had a base town's geography but a unique set of sims and goofy lots?
-Would you care if sims had biographies or didn't?
-Would you care if there were only ~10 families in the 'hood to start? Would you rather that there were ~10 specifically tailored households with nifty stories and then a handful of filler characters for random mutilation and reproduction?
-Would you think that references to Heart of Darkness and/or Apocalypse Now were amusing?
-Would you actively search for easter eggs and interesting drama/relationships?
-Would anybody be willing to document legacies or adventures in the new town as post-release advertising, potentially showing off some of the easter eggs and funny drama?

~Yes, though I might end up reusing the sims and lots for other projects having nothing to do with the town.
~I wouldn't really care, since I could make up my own story behind them, but I have no objection to them.
~The later (10+fillers) sounds better.
~I'm afraid I'm ignorant on the subject of both.
~depends.
~Hate legacies, and don't really share anything having to do with my sims. :/

Or, if someone wanted to stick all the rabbit holes on a lot where it doesn't interfere with anything to free up space for worthwhile buildings.
390  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Move In Scenarios - My learnings on: 2009 September 30, 04:21:51
Doesn't happen only with bin families. Doesn't need tutorial to be on. Doesn't even need an unfurnished home. All you need to be doing, is moving a sim that's 'active' into a vacant home. Like when you're setting up the game for the first time. Not quite sure if it can happen if you're moving an 'active' person into a game that's been going a while, but it might be possible.

http://sims3tinkers.com/smf/index.php?topic=140.0 <--- This thread contains a mod that increases the chances of these scenarios popping up.

Edit: Alsooo.... It can happen with any house. Even play made ones.

Oh! I just remembered too I got one of these events in Hatchet Falls, so it can happen after everything's been set up, and the game's been active, the only thing is you need someone who is 'active' .. as in, they're going to be marked as your active family, going into the neighborhood for the first time.

Would it be possibly to undo the patch's stupid anti-grim reaper nonsense?
392  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Can't get rid of default replacements! on: 2009 September 21, 20:07:05
Could you take a screenshot of the eyes you're trying to get rid of? Someone here may recognize them and the file name may be something you didn't think of.

And did you try clearing your caches?
393  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Betrayal Moodlet?? on: 2009 September 09, 05:25:37
Quoted from the wiki..

#  No Nudity Censor - Male [Optional - Default: Disabled]

    * Male sims are no longer blurred when naked. Useful if you have one of the "bits" hacks that actually makes them equipped. Otherwise this is really creepy and disturbing. Note that noncensor only applies to nudity. Sims remain censored when using the terlet because sims cannot remove their pants, and frankly, the blur is for hiding what is not happening.

# No Nudity Censor - Female [Optional - Default: Disabled]

    * Like above, only it's somewhat less difficult to make this look nonfreaky.

Aka-For some of us, a non-mosaic patch is still necessary.
394  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Betrayal Moodlet?? on: 2009 September 08, 22:31:27
I don't think No Mosaic has any conflicts. I've had it in my game for a while, even though awesome has an option, just because the sometimes mosaic thing bugged me. And not because I watch them. But because the mosaic has this annoying habit of going through walls occasionally. And because it swallows toddlers when  they are being potty trained.

I tried using the compressorizer on the homes and it didn't work for me. :/ .. It's a pity because I love the Mediterranean. I keep getting some error about needing to update which is garbage because I have the latest patch.
397  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Black Screen Then Computer Freezes on: 2009 September 02, 02:41:31
Do you ever get an error that says, "graphics driver 'blah' stopped responding, but has fully recovered" with this? ... If so, I get the same thing, and apparently it's a common Vista issue.

I get that error.  How do you get it to stop?
I've never been able to. :/ .. I tried googling for help, it mostly said, 'update your drivers' but my drivers are fully updated, and I still get the issues. Some other person suggested getting a new graphics card, but I haven't tried that. Usually I don't bluescreen unless I've been running the game for a long time.. like.. over 3 hours... so.. all I can really recommend, is living with the error, and saving frequently if your computer is prone to bluescreening behavior.

399  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Borked Guitar Music on: 2009 August 31, 01:23:16
Whenever you transfer a sim who has learned different guitar songs to a new hood, they songs duplicate themselves.. (this isn't new..) to fix that, I used 'dropskill' on the guitar skill... had my sim relearn it... and now she can't learn any of the sheet music other than the only one she hadn't learned in her old hood. The other songs appear as unlearned... but she can't re-learn them. There's no interactions for the skill books. Is there a way to fix this?
