Actually i've opened an old mine project about the italian moca.
at the moment, it's a clone of the low cost coffe maker cause it fit perfect with the italian one but the cups are too big, so i need to use the expresso cups.

on my ignorance i've imported the drink espresso and drink espresso - test function from the expresso machine... but as you can immagine it didn't work, so that's why i'm here again :\
would you help me ?

maybe you know maybe not.. but

you have a backup of the 3 neigborhood on your hard disk, so if you wish to restore the original N00x hood just copy it Wink

for example, on my computer the original files are stored in
C:\Programmi\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\UserData\Neighborhoods
(programmi = programs files, in english Smiley )

so, you can open that folder and copy the N001 (pleasantview / bellavista, in italian version) and copy it on your
Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods

i wish to know why the sims never wash his hand when they done...
the use of the sink in bathroom is totally unusefull, also 'cause if they need to be a bit clean at 90% of the times they wash his hand in the chitcken eaven the bathroom  Undecided

i think that the TJ Hack is a bit too "absolute", maybe the neat sims will clean his hand.. probably lazlo will nerer flush and never wash his hands Wink

i've made 30 sims..
i've erased all towies and npc..
i've extracted about 10 townies form hood "bellavista" (n001)
now.. i've started a new one, my target is to have no townies but only the one controlled by me..

the second target will be the NPC, i with that the game will use this one 30 (great if the game will keep it in radom)
any suggestion ?


did the game will create new townies by itself ?

i've got the code from the aspiration reward "smart milk"...
after a little investigation i think my bhav should be a sub  called Sub - Successful Attempt?

This is an cool answare for J.M. and the other modders arourd here..

i need to check if the sim that is using my object, have a specific aspiration.
for example, i need to made everyone on the lot enemy with my sim if his aspirations is about friends  Cheesy
if my sim have a "rich/success" aspiration, with a special function i will subtract / add money to his accout..

tecnically i've made a some test with bcons (without knowing for sure what i'm making lol)

btw:

i didn't find in ttab too any reference to the text ... and i didn't undrestand why in the bhav i see the right menu ... "test.../$Object"
and in the game i see a totally diffferent voice  Embarrassed

This place is filled by the most brilliant TS2 developer, so, i hope someone will help me to understand...  Wink

My objective is to target all guest sim on the lot by a menu, just something like in insim. with "quick relation"
when you click on the menu' it will show all sim present on the lot and give to the selected sim some parameters...

I've made a STR# with the label that will be used in the menu "test.../$Object" actually the istance of the STR# is 0x12E just 'cause i've cloned it form another object.
On the TTAs (instance 0x1) i've the menu string "Test", the istance is x1
On the TTAB (instance 0x1) under interaction i've "Test" that will call a bhav that start with an OpCode 0x32, for some reason, here i can read the right menu string ("test.../$Object")

but in the game it won't be display or sometime (depend on what a kind of mess made) it will show a menu coming from other objects  Shocked

So i hope to find some good guy/girl, so good, to explain to me how those things interact each other, and also how the game will know that my target is a sim  Grin

obviously it didn't work..
but i think it's doinable via SimPe..

if you open the file N00x_WhatUwant.package (WhatUwant = University /Suburbs / Downtown)
you can change the nHood type.. so i will try to copy my Downtown to Suburbs and University so to have the same place for every
nhood Smiley

** Last infos:
 i've succesly cloned Downtown to University  ... (but it always night on the nhood view lol)

i mean the disposition of the house, and the rest of the stuff.. tree, radio's antenna, and all the rest..

'cause it looks realy hard to have the same Neighborhoods ... the game randomize also the tree..
i've imported an SC4 terrain with some tree.. in downtown they are Pines.. at Uni... are Palms  Shocked

i'm to build all zones on the same land, so if i chose University, Downtown, or the commercial center...
at the first impatc nothing should change...

that mean that i've to copy every building and place it on the right place on all zones.. isn't simple but at the end should looks great  Grin

by my point of view the radius of the light is a bit too small...
specially the "roof-light" when turned on must have a more extended range..

indeed to install i usually compress the entire forlder
right click on the Light folder and then select "add to Light.rar"
and then overwrite the file inside.. on this way you original file are safe and packed
