TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Falling asleep while eating?!

Just thought I'd add a picture Former streaker Adam here, not impressing his mother in law to be. Can't work out if it's the fact that he is neked, or the fact that he can breathe whilst burried in mac and cheese that's making her look so shocked... [attachment deleted by admin]

The negative side effect of the new aspiration reward. If your sim is below gold their aspiration will change to grilled cheese aspiration, lifetime want to eat 200 grilled cheese sandwiches, normal wants eat grilled cheese, talk about grilled cheese etc. Very amusing.

I stuck shaklin's site in google translate - the teen girl vampire skin is too blue and doesn't fit the face or something, that's what that's for - I've not played a teen vamp yet, so not experienced it.
Also add me to the no bowling sounds. I had also not noticed. I'm going to check out the fix for the karaoke in a minute.

http://www.livejournal.com/community/thesims2/1284926.htmlThe full Prima Guide information on vamps is there Specifically: "Whether your Sim will get bitten by a vampire depends on several factors including your Sim's Daily Relationship with the vampire (the higher it is, the greater the chance of a successful bite), whether your Sim is a Knowledge Aspiration Sim (Knowledge Sims get bitten at lower Daily Relationships), whether the vampire is the correct age and non-family (required for some but not all conditions), and your Sim's amount of Logic skill (the higher the Logic, the greater the Daily Relationship must be)." I know the guide is usually wrong, but in my experience this is pretty much right.

I think it might just take a while VJ I tried for it yesterday and gave up - mainly as she can't dance with her parents. It would be good to know if the smustle adds to the points in any way...

Oh no it took me three dates to notice it. At the bottom of the date meter is the thumbnail of the sim and their aspiration - click on the aspiration and the wants panel scrolls out.

Also having trouble with outings. On the dates you get the wants panel of the date, however I've not noticed it on outings. I guess it's something I need to explore a bit more...

I've had the child visitors leaving too early and I've never used the maxMotives cheat.
This is seperate - from what I can make out everyone is having that problem, teens leave early too. The maxMotives/instaleaving thing means that when a visitor is greeted they will instantly leave - you get a "it's late" pop up and then they are gone I've only been playing with NL a couple of days, but I am curious if anyone else has noticed that you cannot get parents and children to dance togther any longer. I have used this options repeatedly for my teen sims when working to get the fancy footwork scholarship. Tried it last night, and it just wasn't an option for either the parent or the teen.
*sticks hand in air* I noticed, last night in fact and it's a pain the arse. I wanted that scolarship.

I attempted to burn some, however they never caught on fire - my fault really, didn't try hard enough - and they were in sunlight anway so the died because of that.
However in the guide or somewhere it said accidental death is possible. Pretty much the same way you can kill zombies.

Not that boring really, I set myself a challenge and vamped the entire of Pleasantview, or as much of it as I could. I was amused. However I can see how extended play with a vampire could be boring

Just remembered something else from last night, but I suppose it's probably linked to the overpopulated neighbourhood problem (although, 392 character files) - Tosha got killed on another lot however it didn't register in her home lot. She was still showing on the neighbourhood household panel. The rest of the sims in that house got killed (fried) and all was fine, the lot registered as empty. If this isn't linked to the overpopulated neighbourhoods, could it be related to the new options with tombstones?
Also, whilst in that basement, which was open so they were technically outside, I had the firey decorative object and the room was on fire - vampire sims a'burnin', a few NPCs joined in the fray, stopped burning, walked up the stairs as if to leave, walked a few paces and then started burning again, setting things upstairs on fire. Not really a problem in this instance, but I thought I'd add it in anyway.

Yep they can, they can also dare someone else to peek. Actually vampires "bleh"ing at low bladdered sims can cause accidents also. Doesn't work vampire to vampire, obviously.

QT is beautiful witch. I'm sorry you lost her. Of all my pets I've only felt truly comfortable with my latest (look down). However I have had two pairs of gerbils, a hamster, fish and a canary. They were all fantastic in their own right, but I think I was too young to appreciate them for what they were at the time. While I'm here, I'll share a picture of my kittykat Paws (not responsible for her name). She is most evil and tried to wake me up at 6am by bashing me in the head with her own. Needless to say, she didn't succeed, and when I find her asleep I will be poking her
