Dorms, Nec style (College Rampage optimized)

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I gave building dorms the Nec way a shot, and I think it turned out pretty good.

The Nec way of building means that the dorms should be optimized for College Rampage. The lot is saved as residential, in case you'd want to remodel - though that might defeat the purpouse of College Rampage-optimizing the layout.

Debord Dorms holds seven rooms, with one slightly bigger for that extra-special sim. Comes with a small garden and room for additional outside activities. To change the lot to a dorm, just type "changelotzoning dorm" in the cheat box, without the ".

Good luck, and feel free to come with constructive criticism, if it is needed!

My first constructive criticism would be that pictures would definitely further my incentive to download.

I know - there are pics now. I forgot to add them the first time around.

Ah, okay. This looks like it would be rather enjoyable to play. Built on a somewhat small lot, while still having enough space outside, and even has room for gardening. It incorporates aesthetics and function while still looking and being furnished like a dorm. I like it.

The columns look like they might cause some route blockage. Given how crappy the routing is (in TS2), that would almost definitely cause problems.

Yes, I thought about that too - but I tried to move things around so that the columns could stay. I haven't playtested it, but I decided that columns are easy enough to get rid of if you need. Smiley

Good stuff, Annann Smiley You could use the snapobjects cheat and place the columns closer to the edge of the foundation against the fencing. I do that a lot.
