Juice Bars and OFB?

Ever since I installed OFB, if I open a home business on a lot, the juice bar becomes unusable (doesn't matter which bar I try).  And this happens whether or not the business sign is open or closed.  I only get "Juggle Tumblers" as an option.  Has this happened to anyone else?  I've been looking around to find the answer -- or a hack to fix this.  I don't want to run a bar business -- just to be able to use the bar.  Any help would really be appreciated.

I think it is design that way since you cannot have bartender on your home lots while a business is open.

When you close it, you can use it again.

Yes, it should work when my business is closed, but it doesn't.  Maybe I have a conflicting hack or something.  I'm probably too lazy to try to figure out which one, though.    No big deal -- I just thought someone else may have had the problem and already solved it.

Maybe you have to assign an employee to tend the bar if it's a business.

Edit: I just tested it and the only bar you can assign an employee to is the Impossible Mission Bar. The other bars are pretty much useless.

This is probably a stupid question but maybe you set it for sale which would cause you not to be able to use it??

I have had this problem too.  The bars are useless if you have any kind of home business, open or not.  I placed one because two of my Fortune Sims living in one house wanted one (I figured hey, two lots of asp points for one bar....) but decided to remove it afterwards and buy them something else instead.

Glad it isn't just me then, but sorry yours is broken too.  I probably wouldn't have noticed it didn't work (I only buy the bars for the sims who need the aspiration points), except I had a juiceaholic sim who quit drinking, and I thought it was odd.

Do you have custom bar set in your game?  I know I read somewhere of others having the same problem you have but cannot remember how to solve this.

Sorry, pretty pointless post but still, try doing a search, it might have been on this site that it was discussed.

as for the juicaholic problem, Squinge at the inseminator site made a mod to stop Sim doing that, it is call nobarabuse.

I had this problem on a community lot.  After turning the dormtools cheat on and placing a newer bar, suddenly a bartender appeared and sims could order drinks from him.

There are only 5 bars that will spawn a bartender. One from Uni, 3 from NlL, and one from OFB. These are also the only bars that you can assign an employee to in OFB.
