I think certain AM features aren't working properly

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I recently installed AM on my laptop after using it on my main PC and I noticed that I couldn't set households as Sacred or track them on the radar. At first, I tried creating a new documents folder to make sure there were no conflicts with other mods. It didn't help. So, I searched the forum and I found out I needed to disable the trait cap. I did that and it was fixed but I didn't have to do that on my main PC. After that I noticed the right click to switch households didn't work either. I haven't been able to fix that yet but on my main PC it works fine if I load an AM old save but not if I create a new one. Testing briefly in a new save, it does work but only if I have switched to that household before or if it's a Sacred household (I didn't do this test on my laptop but I'm assuming it'll be the same). I thought I could ask here for help, because I'm really not sure what else to do in order to fix this. If anyone has any ideas, please feel free to let me know.
