Awesomemod is not yet compatible with the expansion Pack
kjs:
I've tried doing everything everyone says to do:
- delete AwesomeMod
- delete the 4 *cache.package files
- uninstalled the game (so now I'm running the base game)
but my game keeps crashing (although I didn't get the core mismatch warning)
Then I realized that every time I deleted the *cache files, they showed up in my documents\electronicarts\thesims3 folder again!
And the thing is that they're not even the original files... they show that the date modified was today
what is going on ???

I have no idea why your game is crashing, perhaps it's some other CC that's causing it. As far as the cache files are concerned, though, they're recreated automatically every time you run the game, so that's perfectly normal. You only need to delete them when you change something significant with your CC.
Elyasis:
Exactly that. The date depends on when the file is created/changed. And since it had to recreate it, it will have the date and time it was recreated.
kjs:
thanks.
I had no idea they recreated themselves. It was really freaking me out :P

Known bug, been there for ages, fix is part of AwesomeMod.
Is this true for other "simulating object is null - unable to obtain an interaction object" script errors too, or only for household switching?
