I just had a sim roll a want to go on a mountain vacation yesterday, so it looks like that'll be the vacation 'hood added first. I'm building it gradually as I do the main 'hood.

  • Nice tiny terrain with roads cut into a mountain side, check.
  • Rustic campground with fishing pond and porta-potties, check.
  • Tons of 'hood deco trees, check.
  • Vacationers and locals...uh...in the works.


I just finished creating six more dormies (four of whom have already been properly corrupted by a romance sim) as I was bored with the existing ones and hadn't thought to add dormies into the aging rotation with the rest of my townie-class sims. I didn't feel like messing with vacationers yet.

Thanks. Good NPCs make it a lot more fun to play. Sometimes I am tempted to send sims on a holiday, because I miss seeing Zeeshan dancing the hula. Many of them women who met him want to see him again too.
I did the same with the hobby sims and now I want all my playables to become hobby club members so they can meet them.

And in Maddie's case, a hug from Bob resulted in death... which come to think of it, would be interesting for the game.
