OFB Restaurant plates issue

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I have just gotten around to having an owned restaurant in OFB.  My Sim opened the restaurant and took care of as many customers as she had tables (4).  This Sim played all roles: hostess, server and chef.  The problem is that she will not clean up any plates and I cannot direct her to do so.  All the tables now have dirty dishes sitting on them.  Hovering over a dirty plate does not give me any options.  I made sure there was a sink and also purchased a dishwasher.

I have had this problem before at an owned bakery.  Currently on that lot there are about 5 plates under the foundation because I can't clean them up or delete them (even with moveobjects on).

Anybody know what I am doing wrong?  Thanks.

Got Squinge's no autonomous dish cleaning or Inge's old version in your game?

I have no Squinge hacks in my game, and nothing pertaining to plates from Inge - really just her sleep through the night hacks and the plant that moves people around.

None of JP or 2Jeff hacks would cause this, correct?  I (like everyone else it seems) have more of their hacks than not.

Thanks, I'll keep searching forums for answers.

I seem to remember having a similar problem the one time I experimented with running a restaurant.
Sometimes chairs and plates would get stuck and I had to remove them with moveobjects on (or in the case of the plates, the stuck object remover).

I don't think I ever found out what was causing it; restaurants are too useless by far, so I sold it.

The only reason i had one of my rich Merchant Sims buy a restraraunt (He bought the One-Twenty-Five) was to give a secluded place for my other sims to go to on dates.  As it's currently only a Rank 2 Business, there are very few other customers to get in the way.  Hired 3 employees who had decent skills then the owner never touched that business again.
Another side benefit is it seems Mrs. Crumblebottom seems to be on the lot alot less than before.  Maybe my imagination but then i prefer my imagination over RL sometimes.   Wink

Found Inge's no autonomous plate clearing misfiled in my d/l folder.  Thanks for that tip Jordi - made me look harder.

I had that same problem, had to remove Inge's hack.  I wish there was some way to only have it work on unowned community lots, not businesses.
