Um. Musical pee?

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

My god, all my errors invovle bodily functions, it seems.  Anyway, one of my Legacy children, Isaac, makes... xylophone noises when he pees.  It started when he was a child and he's a teenager now and it hasn't stopped.  It's kinda funny, but also really, really weird.  Any idea how I can fix this?  It's not a big deal, but, again, weird.  He's been deleted and restored, but the pee still sounds like a xylophone.

I'm thinking he's not gonna be the heir.

I keep hearing people talking about peeing xylophones or something like that.  It's never happened in my game.  Who else gets it?

It's perfectly normal for male children. If you find this annoying, here's a remedy:

Boy children who have, maybe two-thirds or more, green bladder bars pee standing up if you send them to the toilets.  Actually, I guess adult and teen males pee standing up too in those cases, but only children make the 'tinkling' sound.  Try it and report back whether you liked it or found it annoying.  Cheesy

Teen males should not be making musical pee. If this is occuring, then the teen has retained some of the child coding. Most of the time this will cause no problems and will either stop, or continue into even adult and elder age. But there is a chance they will leave the lot, then come back in a strange teen/child, adult/child, ELDER/CHILD hybrid because of the remaining child coding causing the other age coding to become borked, causing the game to use the usable data... the remaining child coding.

Don't -burn- them; it's a waste of time. You need to age them back down to a child, and age them back up to a teen again. If this doesn't work, then you need to age them back down to a Toddler, and then to child, and back to teen. I promise the aging down to toddler will fix it, because it wipes the child coding completely that was remaining.

If you do age the sim down, don't panic if the body becomes invisible.  Take pictures and share!  Then age the sim back up and their body will reappear.

All male sims make the same noise when they pee standing up...  it's just a little less loud and a different pitch for teens, adults and elders...  but if you listen carefully, you can still hear it.

This is true, but the sound is much lower (Almost inaudible) for teens, adults, and elder. You know when you've retained child coding when it is LOUD and clear without having to get right next to the sims ass cheeks to listen.

My reasoning comes from having a son..

We bought him this little doohickey that hooks to the underside of the toilet seat.. it's like a mini version of the target paddle from a dunking booth. It taught him to aim and when he hit it this little xylophone tune would play for the duration. I can't find them anywhere anymore, but it was a lifesaver for us.. lmao

I just figured, the first time I had a male child sim and heard that, it was a similar thing.

What a strange idea. Wouldn't it be easier just to throw a dead bug in the terlet? That tends to be implicitly instinctive then.

My cousin had these little [flushable?] rings for toilet target practice. I only discovered them because the kid didn't learn how to flush after peeing and i didn't look before I sat down.... "WTF? Kate, I'm peeing colored rings!!!" XD

My solution to young boys (of any age) who can't aim is: comic books in the bathroom.
That gets them to sit down, and eliminates all risk.
