Skipping levels in pet jobs?
« on: 2006 November 06, 16:19:10 »
THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Just had something odd happen. My Security-employed german shepherd managed to skip a level in his job. He was a Guard (I think that's the name of it anyway - it's the second level), and according to the description the next should have been "Contraband Sniffer". Instead he was fast tracked up to Guard Pet instead. Anyone else had this happen?

I'm afraid I haven't played enough with pet careers to help.  Just didn't want this to go unanswered!

Did you get a Chance Card that day?  You might have one promotion from the card and one that was actually earned.

I didn't, no. Is that actually possible? Getting a normal promotion and a chance card promotion during the same day?

It's not with Sims, but it's the only logical thing I could think of for what you describe.
