I installed Crammyboy's nudist hack, and I entered a different house this time.  Both it and CBoy's cock seemed to be working that time.  I'm not sure what the problem was on the other lot.  I'll check it again next time.  Huh

In my game, and by reports a lot of others, custom food disappears when it's put on the table.

Dunno about the others.

My custom foods are all still there. I tried to teach my Sim family to cook, but after the second day of toaster pastries, lunch meats, mac n cheese, and unfilled hunger motives, I broke down and gave them Christianlov's Power Fridge, which allows for all foods regardless of skill, and they happily ate beef au jus, bel pepper soup, and french toast. With hunger needs filled, they actiually focused on more important needs..like kicky bag Huh.

I only have one custom food, mozzerlla cheese and tomato sandwich, and it works fine.

I seem to remember this was an issue with OFB a while ago, but I haven't had this problem in months, and not at all since Pets came out.  I have dozens of custom foods in my game, mostly downloaded from MTS2 and cocosims, and they are all fine.

Do you have any other food-related hacks in your game?  If so, try taking them out and see if it helps.

There actually seems to be more than one kind of custom food--some show up in Clean Installer as game objects and others as custom careers.  I've been told that the kind that show as careers won't work with OFB and I assume they won't with Pets, either, but a more awesome modder than I would need to verify that.

I dont think so, i have some custom food that comes up as career and it still works fine, i havent tried it with pets though.

While on the subject of Squinge, does anyone know if he updated his mods for "Pregnancy wear any outfit" and "Buy Maternity Clothes?"  I have a whole bunch of maternity clothes going to waste in my Clothes Sub-file.

Neither of those mods appears to be on any of Squinge's lists for updated or needing-update mods, so in theory they may still work without an update.

I was wrong--Pregnancy Wear Any Outfit is on the 'needs an update' list (but only the EP3 InTeen version apparently.)  Wish the dude would clean up his lists so it's easier to sort these things out.  :p

Here's some others I haven't been able to find out about:

Move In All Ages and Find Own Place for Teens by Pinhead
Vampires Walk Normal, Homework Fall Asleep and 9 New Gypsy Potions by Smonaff
Garage Door Opener by Bobcatben
Lottery Move-In Fix by Jase

How about it, anybody tried 'em?

move in definitely needs an update. I've already pm'd him about it. I don't use the find own place hack tho. But I imagine that it would probably need updating as well.

The no lottery move in fix Also definitely needs an update. It doesn't look like Maxis fixed it since the original BHAV remains unchanged. So I would imagine that the fix is still needed. However, new BHAVs were added that the hack is using. So it WILL cause problems in your game if you try to use it. I posted about these hacks in my compatibility thread. I went to the InTeenimater and I didn't see a place for me to report it. I would have pm'd Jase directly, but I figure he has more important things to deal with tryin to update InTeen.

Yup...this stuff is all on my radar.  My policy is that all mods I produce are assumed incompatible with Pets until explicitly stated otherwise.

Well that's a shitty assed policy.  Tongue Some of the stuff might actually work. There are ways to check like running hackdiff and such and even what we used to do back in the good old days, report about our experiences using the files and compare.

I realize everyone is saying 'OMG YOUR STUFF DOESN'T WORK WITH PETS WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO UPDATE!!!' bla bla bla, but I think it's a lame cop out to say things like 'My policy is that none of it works until I feel like saying so' or 'Don't give me any more reports about my hacks with Pets' etc. Regardless of if or when you ever update, people want to know if the current hacks are safe or not and it's a lazy assed way out to say that all of them are without even bothering to check because some of them might not be.

Dizzy, is there any way to separate the code that prevents Family sims from doing the "I'm home!" thing but without the pizza or groceries thing?  I lowered the percentage way down on Pizza and lowered groceries to zero, but I don't need groceries with Inge's permafridge hack, and pizza just spoils now with all the snapdragons I've made in OFB.

If there is, I don't know about it.  JM has one that fixed the queue stompage that occurred when parents returned home and children ran to greet them, but that wasn't the same thing as this.

While we're sharing Inge info, she's got new updates for agecons and the Heirloom Cake at her new dinnerbell forum.

Sounds like her shrubs are working okay in Pets (Stay Things and Days Left, and also the jordi version of Teleporter Plus (latest version posted on MTS2)). I'm not 100% sure on "No Autonomous Computer Games", but it had better still work properly, 'cause otherwise I'll go mad.

Also not sure on the status of all the hiders; but I never wound up using those anyway, so I've just culled them.

I was wondering, where are Inge's shrubs now?

Inge's Institution Sign doesn't work w/ Pets - it makes the pet carpools not show. If anyone's made an update, I'd really like to know. I use her school hack to socialize my sim teens and now I can't do that anymore. Sad

the two most important hacks to me: No Homework, and No Social Worker. Work fine with pets. I can't remember who made those.  Undecided

I also use inge's bottomless bottle. Lifesaver! That and the Magic Potty. {tho I only use that for toilet training, I like them to crawl around while toddlers, it's more cute}
