THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Am I missing something here?  My sim went to the pet store, bought a collar.  The collar went into the sims wardrobe.  So how do I get it to the dog?

Go to a mirror and change the pet's appearance. Might not work on custom mirrors made pre-Pets so be sure to use a Maxis made mirror.

Okay, here's what I get.  I was trying this before with a user created mirror.  I replaced it with a Maxis floor mirror and got the option to change the dog's appearance but option 3 where you select the dog collar said I had none.  Just to be sure, I sent old Cyd back to the pet store.  The dog collar catalog showed the first collar in the wardrobe.  I bought a second collar and tried the mirror thing again.  It still showed no collars.  It is like the toddler clothing thing all over.

Make sure you have the right size collar. I'm pretty sure Cyd has a Small dog so the Large dog collars probably won't fit.

How do you know what's large and what's small? Those damn collars all look the same except for color.

Just like how you buy childrens clothing with the parent. You click on the icon for the small dog/large dog/cat at the top of the interface.

Thank ye gads I wasn't the only one who couldn't work out the pet collars.  I ended up buying  about six of the things  and stupidly kept trying the wardrobe option, convincing myself it must be a bug Cheesy
