THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Has anyone tried out the new building tools yet?  Last night I was trying them out and couldn't get the octagonal room tool to work.  As soon as I clicked on a grid point it would pop up an octogon that was 3 tiles across, but I couldn't get it to drag out any larger than that.  I tried on both bare terrain and on a foundation.  Has anyone had luck using this new tool, and if so is there a trick to it?

Any time you find a new tool, you should read the description that pops up. It often gives you instructions and hints that you may find helpful.

I had the same problem until I read the pop-up.

Even then, it's not really easy to place exactly where you want it, especially off the first level, but I expect that will just take some practice.
