Baby emits noise?

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Not a huge deal, but an interesting occurance. I'm not sure exactly what's causing this, so I'll just give every detail. I have a vampire, who used to be pregnant. He happened to give birth during the day. He gives birth, and since he needed to get back into his coffin as soon as possible, I cancelled out "hold baby" and told to go back to sleep. I told his sister to come over, and pick up the baby. She was being slow, and the vampire got into his coffin before she got there. Now, here's the buggy part. This is nothing but a bedroom. There is nothing to make noise, and the baby is just sitting on the floor not crying. The vampire wakes up immediately as if something had woke him up. Of course, I send him back to sleep, and his sister has finally arrived to pick up the baby. Now, the vampire is asleep, and his sister is playing with the baby. Unfortunately, sims are dumb. His sister, not by my will, puts the baby on the floor. As soon as the baby hits the ground, the vampire wakes up.

In short, babies on the floor are noisy. Why?

And while I'm talking about this vampire, he has the "Macro...Go to Bed" available, but there isn't an alarm clock on this lot, but somehow it sent him to the correct coffin. Any ideas?

Do you have the baby controller installed on that lot?  That'll make the nearest available (or only available) playable sim on the lot 'stow' the baby in the crib.

I suspected that, but he wasn't called to stow. I think his sister was called to do it, and I think that's why she dropped the baby, because that makes so much sense. Put down the baby after playing with it, so you can pick it right back up.  Tongue

Yeah, sims are stupid.  They see playing with the baby as a separate action from putting it in the crib, so naturally they must put it back down on the floor in order to carry out the next action.  Roll Eyes

Babies on the floor have always woken up sleeping sims.

Just to be shitty about it. Yes? Yes.

I used to have a tiny, tiny nursery that was right next to a bedroom. Whenever anyone dropped the baby, there was no floor room in the nursery, so it went on the bedroom floor and woke its grandparents up.

I don't know. Maybe they use some kind of psychic mind control powers. I mean, if i was just left flailing on a bare floor unable to help myself....

Well actually, I'd probably just lie there and shit my pants and not apologize for it.
