Aurora Road - Second in my Maxis-Only Items house series
« on: 2006 September 13, 03:20:51 »
THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Built on a 3x2 lot to maximize gameplay for those with less than robust computers, Aurora Road features a ground floor nursery, study, 4 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, a balcony overlooking the dining area, and a beautiful side courtyard. The style is contemporary with a nod to IKEA.

Landscaping is all accessible to the gardener, but it often will take him until 3 pm to finish it all, but finish he will.

An unfinished basement is perfect for those career and aspiration rewards as your family succeeds.

No custom content, no hacks, no family.

Yummy, your houses look good and are playable, a combination never before completed.  Tongue But really, your houses are lovely and look shiny in Sim City. Any chance of a 2x3 or a 3x2?

This one is a 3x2. I'm not sure which lot size I'm doing next. Perhaps another 3x2. I hope to do one 2x2 as well.

This is a really beautiful home, however, when I go to the basement view, its filled with water, pond water that is!!  I just downloaded the lot and installed using clean installer.

It looks as thou you made a basement using the largest pond water tool, although I can't see how that could be done, as the only way to delete pond water is to level the landscape.  And if my sims could swim in it, it would be awesome, but I don't think they can, lol.

I tried using the constrain tool to fix it, but application crashed to desktop.  Its such a beautiful house, I can remake it myself, but it will take hours as I'm sure you know.

if there is anything I can do to fix it, just let me know.  I'll go get a picture to attach tonight.

Oh I have all expansions and just the glamour pack installed, with all relevant patches.

OMG are you serious, if I place a lot with a basement on "low" lots, I will get pond water?  Wow, I didn't know about that one! lol

I placed this lot in Veronaville on the side with the Capps.  This maybe a stupid question, but how can I tell which lots are on lower elevations?  Veronaville's highest elevation areas don't have a lot of room for big lots, I think?

Oh wow gethane, I really like the look and layout of this one.

Thanks for sharing it.  I love Maxis Only houses because it is much easier then having to run around downloading custom meshes for custom objects.

Thanks so much.  Grin
