Has anyone tried the new "lot sizes"?

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I noticed that a site has new smaller lot sizes. It sounds nice I just worry about them exploding my game.
If it works this would be great for those with slower computers.
But it just seems like the kind of thing that could potentially cause problems.
They are also recommending a mod over at MTSf that allows you to make exsisiting lots larger.
The site is : www.marylousims2.it/home.php

Any one tried these out yet?

Ive used it with no trouble.... so far! lol .... changed the lot size on some existing Maxis house's that I  actually like Smiley Probably best to do it in a test N'hood and save any decent results Smiley Also have the DL of different lot sizes they have, again, no trouble Smiley

EllaTrue--if you aven't see it yet: there is a base game 1x1 in that thread.

Instead of this thread going over there, why doesn't someone invite the creator over to this thread?

There are some questions about the dangers of resizing lots, particular in regards to portal locations...and 1x1 lots do not produce functional residential lots as they aren't large enough to allow you to park your carpool, service vehicles, and school bus. The minimum size for a residential lot should be 2x1. Community lots don't have this problem.

Well provided people know the limitations they might still suit some situations where maybe you are not intending to have school buses or car pools.  A witch's cottage or something...
