the Only One Of Each Headmarster, Gardner, Nanny .......... etc ... now how many headmarsters do a neighborhood need or nannies or paperboy/girls ... grrrrrrrrrrrrrr .... what I really want is editable NPC ... but it seems to be a dream for now ... but why does the game have to spawn so many NPC´s ... is there a We Want More NPCs fan club that I haven´t heard about .... Maxis is sometimes a very unawesome company Rose

Oh, awesome one, if you need another tester I would be DELIGHTED to try this for pre-OFB games. Do you have another version, or should I download this one? (I have TS, Uni and NL only--no stuff packs.) I assume it's compatible with all your previous no-regen packs, or should those be pulled?

It works with all no-regen hacks. There's no "earlier" version, so you'll just have to see if this one explodes.

I'm assuming it wont burninate extra NPC but will it stop the extras from coming and if it does, if I "accidentally" kill a nanny will the alternate come in or will it regenerate a new nanny?

Extra NPCs will not be burninated, but no more will spawn unless absolutely necessary, not just to fill some magic quota of 3. So, for instance, if your neighborhood has a maid, that will be the only one in the neighborhood until you do something to cause a need for a second, like having the first one over as a visitor when the maid should arrive (another maid will thus be needed to take the first one's place), or killing/moving in the first one.
Burninating extra and unused NPCs is covered seperately.

What would be the advantage of burninating extra NPCs which have already been spawned? I mean, apart from the sheer fun Their character files persist if you kill them, so it doesn't help with overpopulation... Just doggedly trying to get more awesome.

By burninating extra NPCs which have already spawned, I mean, burninating them entirely from the game, wiping their character files utterly from existence I would love to do this to the spare 150 or so repro men I have in Pleasantview!! In your Awesome opinion what is the best (safest) method to do this? Using Simpe or SimEnhancer perhaps?

SimPE is the best way to go about doing this. But then you also need to hex-edit a different resource to cause the game to reclaim those NIDs.
