Leave-Home Hack?

Is there a hack out there to prevent teen sims from leaving home?

I'm playing a school right now, and I enrolled a few townies into the school. Since they don't know anyone in the school, after only a few minutes they end up "leaving home". It's quite annoying when I'm trying to match them up with my playables - these townies are a pretty bunch.
