how can i change my game's resolution into 1024x768? In the graphics options, it only has 800x600.

Is it greyed out? I have a similar problem, only with the Lot View settings.
Maybe the game is detecting your graphics card wrong.

What video card do you have?
My laptop never shows a lot of options (greyed out) that my desktop shows, and I think it's to do with what the capabliity of the Video Card is.
