Merging/Keeping sets separate question
« on: 2011 March 03, 14:59:50 »
THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I'm extremely sorry if this is something that's been covered, but I read the whole "Merging mods to increase performance" thread and I haven't found an answer to this problem.
When I merge normal stuff, like clothing or game objects, everything works fine, the game runs at an acceptable speed. If I put all of my sets into the mods folder, it runs painfully slow. As in, if I want to play the game, I have to put the game on, then wait for two hours to get to actual game play.
But if I merge the sets into a couple of packages they don't show up in game.

This could be something simple that I'm being an idiot about, so if I'm missing something it would be nice to be pointed in the right direction.

Thanks.

There's no reason why the merged ones wouldn't appear.
Maybe they're too big, or not in the right directory.

If you're talking about EA store content in .package format, they will merge just like any other package files.

Thanks for replying.

I have the directory right, and I'll try making them in to smaller files.
