THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Once Late Night comes out it would be worth a try to sign up for a new account, set the birthday to a couple days later, register the expansion on that account, and check the box to receive emails from EA. I read that some people were able to register new store-accessible accounts using only an EP/SP code for the refer-a-friend thing.

That's true, I only have fast-lane registered and I have full sims3.com privileges.

My birthday was August 29th and I had gotten nothing and after a week, I got in touch with their customer service and I got a $20 off coupon for the EA Store.  I thought I'd get that Happy Birthday Set.  Oh well.  At least I can get a stuff pack or expansion pack and save $20.  I hope Rayne or Sanyia can get it.  I would have shared it if I actually got it.

I just mean I can download free stuff and post in the forums if I choose to. Where as you can't if you haven't registered anything.

Yea....I only realized that until after I posted...DOH!

Anywho, was lurking around and found these. Has anyone else came across any others like this? I'm in the states so I know we don't get everything and vise versa.

From Gamestop
Pre-order The Sims™ 3 Late Night Expansion Pack today and receive a code to unlock special items. You'll get two additional locations—a dance warehouse and a local dive bar—plus two new hairstyles to get your Sims ready for a night on the town.

I've only seen that pre-order from Game Stop.  I checked Amazon and Best Buy and nothing about a pre-order.  Target won't show any pre-order online.  That would have to be checked in the store.  I'm going to pre-order from Game Stop.  If you have it send to your house, they e-mail you your code or whatever it is and if you do store pick-up, they give it to you then.  I was thinking about having it delivered to my house.  I remember on the Sims 2 site, they actually posted what the pre-orders were for each EP or SP.  If they have for Sims 3, it was once.

I've pre-ordered with Gamestop, so I can upload those items when I get the game, if anyone wants them. Probably.

Well, since "u" is a vowel and a mere letter of the alphabet, I very much doubt that "u" will be able to get anything even approaching a free stuff pack, no matter how much "u" donates. I also don't think "u" will be able to claim a birthday.

Second club looks nice, so if you'll be in mood, you could upload them...

Wallmart Walmart has the same pre order bonus as Gamestop.

Yes, but they only sell the walls.

I've got the birthday set, it was available at the store for a short time a while ago. Not on my birthday, no email from EA, and I'm not in the US. It was shown as a set, can't remember what the description was. There's 2 balloon sculptures, a flower vase and a toy bear.

I'll be shifting download posts into the 'TS3 store, DOWNLOADS ONLY' thread this morning. Please be patient while I learn how to do it, and if you can't find a link, just check back later. It looks like I'm going to have to go back to July at least, it'll take a wee while as I'll also check link validity. Decrapified content will not be included.

Usually I can find my solutions on my own (hence lurking), but I'm trying to figure out a workaround to make BB work for Mac users. Since Decrapifying isn't really an option, does anyone have any suggestions?

The general answer is that you need to set up something like Bootcamp and install a second OS on your system.

One day in college I was feeling very stupid. So I drove with Ben down to Maitland and toured EA Tiburon for an hour as an 'honorary intern'. I left feeling MUCH smarter. I recommend the experience to everyone.  -this is a quote from an Ex-boyfriend of mine..

Yep, I've got bootcamp set up with Windows XP running on my partition so I do have access to XP. What I'm more worried about is something getting lost in transition between OSes. I've got my Sims installed on the Mac side of my computer because it tends to run faster. Does anyone know if anyone's tried Decrapifying and then using the files on a Mac? If no one's got experience with it, I'm pretty okay with screwing around with my game for the purposes of experimentation regardless of explosiveness, but if someone's got an answer that saves me time, I'm all ears.
