Stuck blue low-temperature skin overlay
« on: 2010 April 25, 08:22:11 »
THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Simple enough a problem: One of my sims went outside as a 6, got cold, came inside and aged up. However, the cold-skin overlay stayed on everything except the head. Sending him out and making him freeze in the snow again doesn't get rid of it, it just doubles up the effect to make him look super blue from the neck down. How do I dislodge this irritation? Clearing Tans and Burns doesn't do it.

Try using the mirror to put a full face mask on him, accept, go to the mirror again and remove the mask.

Thanks.

I don't know whether it would have worked or not- that save file just crapped itself due to something unrelated- but I'll do that if it crops up again.
Sigh. *restores from backup. Again*
