Question about: Castaway Stories Conversion for Sims 2
« on: 2010 March 17, 21:44:51 »
THANKS THIS IS GREAT

It turns out that I am extracting objects from the sims 2 Castaway Stories and pass the sims 2, so far all the objects I extracted my work great, but I have a problem with a particular object, I draw the grave that appears when a sim dies, is an urn on top of a stone pedestal, I have located in the object list with Simpe, I cloned the file, with textures and everything, but appears not get in the game (the sims 2), I interested to become a replacement for the original tomb that work the sims 2, I just want to appear as a sculpture but I fail, I read all the tutorials I found but none helped me with sufficient or clone the object needs to be done Anything else?

Sorry about my English
greetings. Smiley

That is a very vague answer. Exactly what goes wrong when you do so?

I clone the object with Simpe and place the file package in the folder downloads, but it does not appear in the game.

They want to extract the object from Castaways for use in TS2 but they also want to make it usable in lieu of a tombstone/urn.

If I'm assuming correctly, you will need to extract a decorative item from TS2 and then use the geometry from the TSC urn in order to convert it to a decorative item for TS2.

In other words:
Export the Object (geometry) from the urn within SimPE, as well as any textures.

Extract any decorative object from TS2 that is in the same category you want to make the urn into by cloning it.
Assign in a new GUID and import the .obj file and textures from the castaway object.
