A forum for hack requests?

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Is there a forum to post a request for a hack? I can't get Servo Appearance Fix (Freetime) to work in Mansion & Garden Stuff despite following the update instructions (correctly, I think). Should I...

We don't really do requests, or new requests, unless they're really urgent, which is unlikely at this point, and in any event, MGS is using the AL engine, albeit in a horrible and undetectable way, and if you are using MGS without AL, this is not a configuration that can be supported reliably in hacks.

Marvin Kosh is the creator who you should contact regarding updates. He hasn't been here for a couple months and I'm not sure where else he frequents. Check insimenator.org. Perhaps Squinge or Chaavik have addressed this. They seem to like messing with Servos.

I've sent a reply to your PM, sorry about the wait.  Smiley

Also, I'll have a look at the hackdiff to see what's new in M&G.

Had a look at the hackdiff from EP8p2 to Ep9 and searched for the stuff that in the Change Appearance and Fix hack.  No matches.  So basically, the AL hacks (see sig) should work.*

Have a go and see if it works.

*Assuming that the hackdiff shows there is no difference between AL and M&G as far as this hack is concerned.

That's a pity. I have a few abandoned hacks that would have been nice to have working copies of. I have all EPs and SPs, although I guess that's a moot point now.

Oh, no need to apologize. I've been very busy and only checked in now anyway. Thank you very much for writing back. I was missing ServoChangeAppearanceApartmentsEP.package for whatever reason. After a quick test, they seem to be working like a charm (since the AL file won't work without the other one, I take it both are required).

Thanks again. I really appreciate it! The default was driving me nuts.
