Social Worker stealing kid for no reason

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I searched this site, and can't find an answer to my problem:
Kid just grew up from toddler at night, and next morning, headed off to his first day of school. All his meters are quite high, and his current grade is showing as 'C'
Mother has the day off, and father works nights, so they're both home all day doing stuff. So then, the social worker shows up to 'lecture' them. Why? It doesn't say. Then, the kid gets home from school, and the social worker comes back to take him away. Still no reason given. And I can't figure out what's going on! Help!

Okay, since you didn't mention this in your post: does this problem occur without any other hacks or downloads in your game? Because that's the first thing you want to check before posting here.

Edited because I left out a word.

Do you have the correct version of the sshack?  You may be oldversioned.  Suggest redownload and try again.

Also, what other hacks do you have?  There may be a conflict.  In any case, I suspect tight pants.

I have many hacks, but they're all MATY hacks. Could there still be a conflict?

Will try redownloading sshack.

I could list all my hacks here...but does anyone really want to read all that?

I say just dump all your hacks into a folder labeled 'Hacks' (unless you've done that already) and then take the Hacks folder out of the game and see if it works without it. Weird things happen if you haven't got a hack updated properly too.

Yes, if you have an old or obsolete hack in with updated hacks there could still be a conflict.  I agree that this is a difficult thing to test, since the social worker does not arrive every day.  However, I would recommend deleting your hacks and reinstalling a new set of MATY hacks from the correct directory (whatever your latest EP is).  That will ensure that you have purged any old versions.
