Downloaded custom clothing won't show in game

 THANKS THIS IS GREAT
I have quite a bit of custom objects and clothing in my download folder. The objects are all showing,  but the custom clothing I downloaded isn't.  I created an elder male pj just to see if it would show up, which it did. Any one have any ideas? Thank you.

If they're based on custom meshes, and you don't have those meshes as well, it's normal.

Make sure your downloads folder is labeled with an uppercase "D".  This makes a difference for bodyshop items.  And also make sure you have the proper meshes.

Thank you cwieberdink. It was the "D" thing. I completely forgot about that since I haven't reloaded Sims in a long time. I knew I had all the meshes, but I just couldn't put my finger on the problem.
