Constant portrait change even with AL fixes plus other borkege
« on: 2009 January 20, 02:19:41 »
THANKS THIS IS GREAT

This does not happen on every lot, but this is the second occurrence in my game. Moving the sim to another lot fixed the problem in the past but I'd like to figure out whats causing it.

Sims portrait changes constantly, and seem to be unable to move out of the room or level they are in without first moving to a different part of that room. If I direct the sim to go to use the toilet on the same level, but requiring travel through two doorways, it is unable to and the portrait changing continues. If I tell it to go to a different spot in the same room, it can. Jump bugs have been observed while using the outdoor chess table.

In both instances the sims brought things to the new neighborhood from Uni. Those things were placed on the lot. This is the only thing they had in common (different hoods, different hack configs).

I took out all non-awesome hacks and the problem continued. I normally run ACR, use Inge's teleporter and school hacked objects, and had recently included tunaisafish's MG door animations fix.

Any help would be appreciated. Error log attached.

This is a forced error which tells nothing.

Do you have Dizzy's thumbnail patch?  Find it at:

You have to patch the actual no-cd EXE.  Here's the link to the M&G version... try searching this site for the AL version.

Your error log is clearly the work of the non-Awesome, apparently some crappy bed. The resets it triggers is what causes your portrait behavior.

Portraits are not a problem on any other lots, and are (I believe) already covered by MATY hack. Stupidly, I am not running a no-cd, therefore the patching of it is moot.

I have removed the two most recent beds I've downloaded and will retest.

Great, that fixed it. Now to figure out which bed. *Sheep bleat wildly*
