Any1 installed Sims 2 Store and EADM here?

I just noticed EA is requesting all clients to uninstall and then redownload the whole Sims 2 Store program.
What is the difference of the new version? Anyone has tried that yet?
I guess EA has been so serious about those Store issues. It is possible that the new Sims 2 Store program only allows items bought via their site to show up in game. But the question is, I love putting some other custom contents into the Sims 2 Store folder and avoid the goofy asterisks. If my theory here is correct, EA is ruining my game! Someone please tell me if I am correct or not. Huh Huh Huh

My EADM started re-installing itself today! As far as I noticed it only had an appearance change. My Sims Store program did not re-installed, at least not automatically as EADM did. Where did EA said to reinstall it?

I actually have the EADM installed on my laptop which doesn't have TS2 installed and I did download and saved the first version and this new version of the sims 2 store. I brought both set of installer files to my main pc and compared them, and almost everything is different:

What's this? I just tried loading Mansion and Garden and it's saying I need to run the store edition.

Oh I see.... I have the old version of Store installed but don't dare to update it to the new version. My hunch is telling me it gonna mess up my Sims 2 games!

And Richief, I knew about the update at the homepage of Store. You will find a little notice on the right when you go to the website.

Have you tried running with the Store Edition from start menu?
It's weird to run with Store since there is no disc for Store... Maybe you should contact EA for technical help.  Embarrassed

I guess EAxis raised the version bit of Store Edition in the newest version. The newest set was unreadable even in M&G without fixing OBJD version bit.
