Sims 2 TV commercials with stories

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Has anyone seen the Sims 2 commercials on TV with stories behind them? I watch one television show once a week at my sister's house, and I've been seeing a commecial for the past two weeks. They are little Sim movies made from the game with narration, and then at the end they show the "simmer" who made them. Last night's was a Sim kid who grows up as somewhat of a failure but them becomes a famous politician (it looked like a dig at Bush, honetsly). At the end they showed the creator and said her name, and something like "this is how she plays her Sims." So far it's just been adults.

Anyone know is these are real people? Did they round people up on the BBS or have a contest? I am just curious.

I recall seeing something about that on the BBS, that they were going to use real people and their games for commercials. You had to submit a lot of personal information and there were people upset over the fact there wasn't an age requierment or something, so kids would be giving out their real addresses/names/phone numbers, etc.,
You know, I've heard people talk about commercials for the sims but I have never, not once, actually seen one.

It sounds like Joe's commercial would be a bit like that second one...all those toddlers, yikes!

No, he's passed the buck to Don Lothario, on that one. Joe's commercial would be mindblowing in many other aspects, however.

http://simsplayedby.com/

They're just simmers with videos. There's one with a kid going on about comparing love to surfing while a Sim surfs on the new wave machine on console.

Come to think of it, I think my stories would be more appropriate for a mature audience Tongue

If I make them, you will come.
Oops, that didn't sound right...
Seriously, I am putting together the Bayfield stories, but it's going to take a long time. Like I've said before, Joe's been in play for over a year, real-time. I have pictures going waaaaaaaay back. Not a whole lot of aging in my game. I'm more into the character development. Screenwriter in me, I guess (yet another thing I dabble in).  But, yes, some very steamy stuff is in those pictures!

One of those movies (the one by the woman in Australia) reminded me of you Brynne.

The movie showed a romance sim doing what he does best ... with a series of different women ... at the end of the movie he opened his front door to the consequnces of his actions.

I saw all those toddlers in his front yard and thought of your Don Lothario with his many toddlers.

That was my first thought, too!  Look - it's Brynne's story.  Cheesy
